This is an excellent restaurant that is away from the crowds of The Historic Section of Downtown Wilmington. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, the ambience is soft on the eyes. The service is excellent, the food is great and presented well. A very nice place to have brunch / lunch / or dinner with family, friends, or with a date. Highly recommended!!!

Food was delicious! Four of us had dinner here before a concert. We loved it all. Perfect cocktails. Great small plates- we had lamb kabobs and the meatballs. We all make delicious meatballs. But not like these! You must try them. Hubby still talks about his giant pork chop - perfectly cooked! Restaurant decor okay. Parking readily available on the street. Great find!

Omg. The brunch here was so good. We got the steak and eggs and the meat and cheese Platter. Everything was excellent. There was nothing left on our plates. It's not on the main road but there is plenty of free parking. $2 mimosas for brunch and it's family run and owned. Oh yeah, and the bread was out of this world.

I really like this place but it's sort of hidden away on Fourth Street. The food is very good, I have often went for the Tuesday burger special that is $15 for a burger and a beer. The burger is amazing, best burger I've consistently had in Wilmington. You can really tell the quality ingredients used. All the appetizers I've had were good, desserts were very good. Also came for restaurant week and that was delicious as well. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. It is a little pricey but this is one of the places I don't mind spending a little extra since I'm always satisfied.

The interior is really nicely decorated. I had the flounder and a friend had the rack of lamb. Both were excellent. Two others had scallops which they said were a little tough (overdone?). The service was great. We'll definately visit again.

My wife and I had dinner here on a Thursday night. We had an excellent experience. The restaurant is easy to get to. The atmosphere and decor is intimate. Spencer was our waiter and he was very attentive, informative and did a tremendous job. I had the filet with added roasted potatoes as a side; my wife had the burger with the same side. Both plates were excellent! Portions were just the right size and we indulged in dessert (vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate brownie). The staff here is super friendly and they appreciated our business. Our meals were well rounded with excellent service and a really laid back yet upscale environment. We recommend and will be returning.

Good food, service can be slow on occasion. Beer selection could be better. The wait staff are nice and make great cocktails. Overall great for a small - medium sized group.

Great place, the staff provides top notch, excellent, and caring service. The District is an excellent choice to spend a night out when not in a hurry. They really take their time to make each experience exceptional. The owners are always on site in the kitchen and will poke their heads out to talk to guest. On busy nights the service may be a little slower then normal, but it is too be expected with a place that is providing each guest with the level of excellent service they do. As for the food. It is top notch high quality entrees, salads, and apps. Their seafood is extremely fresh and locally sourced here in Wilmington. One can really tell how much time and effort goes into each delicious entree. The District is and always will be in my top 5 fine dinning restaurants in Wilmington and will always be one of the places I go for nice night out or celebration.

Awesome place to eat, have had lunch there lots -- always a nice experience. Food is great, staff so nice! Their onion marmalade is fantastic & I loved my salads & vegetarian options. Plan to go there for dinner soon, Restaurant Week would be a good time! The District is a fine place I always enjoy going to.

Our waiter, Dana, was extremely friendly. Went for brunch and the burger was fantastic. Perfect temperature and egg as well. I also ordered the chicken and waffles and it was probably the best I've ever had, the chicken was perfect. If their other meals are anything as close to the brunch I had, I'd recommend this place to anybody.
