Diamonds Grille And Billiards

This was a long time Wilmington staple especially for those of us in the Ogden / Porter's Neck area for many years. There was always cold beer, warm whiskey and more often than not a great bartender or two running the place. There were known for their pool tables but had other games like darts and plenty of televisions for the whatever was playing. I don't know of they'll be opening again but a lot of people miss having that spot.

Stopped in to get some wings, because a few of my passengers tried to convince me that they had some of the best wings in town..... guess what? They were absolutely correct! I had ordered the hot wings with ranch dipping sauce and they were good down to the bone! I was also told that their burgers are delicious as well and that during the afternoon you can get a $5 special so one day when I’m back in the area I will have to give it a try. The place itself is a pretty cool spot back up in the cut and you really would never know it’s there unless someone tells you about it or you drive through Big Lots parking lot. The first time I saw it, I thought it may have been a strip club.... lol.... they have quite a few small tables, the bar and pool tables. Nice spot to chill

You would never think a place like this has food. But they do, and the fried pickles are amazing. They will also give you a mean case of heartburn. But if you drink enough...pepsi maybe you won't notice? Seems like a lot of locals hang out here. It isn't uncommon to see even some genuine Wilmatonians here. People seem nice. Pool, darts, some video games.
