food is absolutely top notch. so much attention to detail in the flavours and everything is really good quality. even all the room decor and utensils all add to the coastal vibe to match the style of the food. the people are lovely and service is great. love this place :)
The food is absolutely unbelievably tasty, flavours were perfect. Such a nice vibe in the restaurant. Our waiter Alfie was running the restaurant and doing amazing, he was so attentive and managed the busyness of the place perfectly. My dad made me purposely ask for Alfie’s name to give him credit because of how well he did, highly recommend. Was lovely having someone like him serve us, really made our experience.
For someone who comes from Goa I can vouch for the authenticity of the flavours at Potyo ( that’s what they used to call me in High School 😂)
Started with the sharing platter for 2, a good combination of flavours with my personal favourite being the chicken wings. For main we had the Chicken Cafrael which was lit AF and reminded me of Home, on point with the juicy meat, the spice and everything nice. Also the Calicut Prawns Biryani and Pork Vindaloo which was top notch.
Desserts we tried the serradurra and Bebinca and have to say I was really impressed. Would definitely be visiting again.
We had food delivered on Deliveroo multiple times and loved it, so we decided to visit for a meal. The experience at the restaurant was even better! The food was delicious with our favourites being the butter chicken and pork collar vindaloo. The staff and owners were lovely and took the time to chat to us between courses and get our feedback. Truly a lovely atmosphere and team which we couldn't recommend enough!
Amazing fresh food and service. Will definitely be back. An absolute hidden gem in the middle of Wilmslow.
Absolutely lovely experience. The food is brilliant and the staff are so friendly highly highly recommend. Also you have to try the chocolate lava cake the best I have ever had!!!
Just brilliant. We had our bonfire party catered by Potyo tonight and everyone loved the food. Communication was great whilst we agreed on menu choices and price, the food arrived bang on time and everything was set up for me in their chaffing dishes ready to go. I just regret not taking any photographs of it all, but believe me the appetisers, curries and rice dishes were just fantastic. I’d happily recommend to anyone. Lovely people to deal with too! 5* service and food all the way.
Another very good meal at Potyo in Wilmslow. We both decided to go veggie with the mixed starter to share and paneer Makhani which was quite sweet and paneer steak that was very well balanced flavours with sides. Excellent. Will be back
This is the fourth time I've been to Potyo in Wilmslow, and I can honestly say, it's the best Indian in Wilmslow, possibly the North West. The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly presented. It's unique, and not what you'd usually find. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, full of calming blues and whites, with a nautical theme. You can almost imagine you're on holiday. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
UPDATE:
I've visited Potyo several more times since this review, and each time has been incredible. I highly recommend a visit. My partner and I took his mum there for mother's day and ate off the mother's day menu. It was so tasty. I really hope the cod finds its way onto the menu permanently. And, I'd like to say thank you to the staff for helping to make a very special mother's day.
What a treat of an experience.
We were extremely well looked from the moment we walked through the door. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. Beautiful setting and music too.
Second time visiting and will be back!
