This is an excellent place to stop off for a casual drink, with a great beer and wine list, or a light meal/snack. We had delicious ginger and sweet potato soup, hot and perfectly seasoned with normal and gf bread. We followed it up with a scrumptious charcuterie. What makes it particularly good is the very friendly welcome from the owners coupled with clientele who were also chatty and friendly. This is a very homely, hospitable and warming venue which creates a friendly atmosphere on a cold night. We had a great evening and left wanting more.
Lovely cafe in Winchcombe. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seating, including an patio area. Very dog friendly which is bonus for dog walkers! Good drinks and food selection. I had a delicious egg mayo sandwich which as very tasty. Selection of homemade cakes, scones and tea cakes are perfect to have with a lovely latte!! Great service from the staff.
Marriage between drinks & food really well thought out - and great value for quality of ingredients. Incredibly friendly staff. Lovely ambience, feels like drinking in your own lounge - but with better service!

They may have started as a bakery, but they are now running one of the best, chilled, friendly wine bars I've ever been to, not just in the Cotswolds.
I admit that may partly be because there select choice of wine is bang on, and get the Manchego to go with.

We popped into The Old Bakery today as we were walking past and noticed it had opened again with new owners. We received a really warm welcome (even with a dramatic toddler in tow), the staff were all friendly and keen to please, and the cakes, milkshakes and the tea were all delicious. It’s also a really cosy, inviting environment. We’ll definitely be going back. And to the reviewer who left a one star review, even if you were disappointed with the experience, why be so mean to a new independent local business as soon as you step out the door on the first day of opening?!
Excellent coffee before the start of our day walk yesterday, and a warm welcome from the hosts. Only had time for coffee but next time hope to have food as well which looked great. This is definitely our go to café now!
TOB is under new management and greatly improved if you ask me. I've been eating in Winchcombe over the last ten years and demand quality, or I simply don't return. Fantastic coffee with actual flavour, and aromas of a roasted bean. Check out the locally baked breads....People! you are gonna be busy🙌
What a lovely find whilst on the Cotswold way, perfect lunchtime spot! I had a panini and the orange cake, yum. Excellent coffee and a very warm welcome from the staff. Would recommend.
