One of the most beautiful garden restaurants I have ever been to. The food is great and the deserts absolutely decadent. Altogether a fabulous experience. Thursdays steak day I believe, good value for money.
Ship theme inside this pub is bright and welcoming. Main dining area "Eats" is located on one side. There is also a delicatessen to the rear. Friendly service. Nice place.
Happened upon this pub accidently, from the outside it looks small but inviting. WOW inside is amazing, very nice decor, attentive staff and nice choice of food and drinks. But the best bit is the rear garden...it has trees, bushes, flowers and all kinds of plants all enclosing little/larger seating areas. The drinks were lovely sat out in the sun there and the light bites were cooked to perfection. There is also a deli counter in a shop area also selling fancy Gins, Tequilas and other lovely items. IF YOUR IN THE AREA, DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT 👌💯🥰
Beautiful food and helpful staff, doesn't seem to be chain type generic food and looked and tasted wonderful. I just wish it wasn't 400+ miles away from where I stay. The best pub food I've ever had and possibly ranks as high as any Restaurant. Will definitely return if ever in that area again or even if near that area I would go out my way to go back.
A real treat. The ShipsBBQ in the stunning garden was delicious for the Platinum Jubilee. Great decor inside too really unique. The Laine brew IPA was a new to me and excellent. Finally the staff too were friendly and helpful
Stopped by on a really hot day a week or so ago and sat in the beautiful garden to enjoy 2 excellent burgers and wine. Great service at a reasonable price. Couldn't fault anything.
Such a lovely place with a beautiful garden area. Friendly Staff but beware...no food served on Tuesday!
We really enjoyed here, we had a shared olives, cold meats and sourdough and was yummy. Garden area was really interesting.
Oh my god this place has the best pub garden I have ever seen on my entire life. So much so that we’re going to stay for another. It’s beautifully sheltered if you need a break from the coastal winds. It does coffee and good looking cakes and has its own deli and butchers. It’s quirky and homely.
A welcome stop at the end of the Rye Harbor to Winchelsea Beach walk. Unassuming from the outside, modern retro on the inside, but a delightful garden full of nooks and crannies in which to loose yourself. Decent selection of beers, helpful and friendly staff.
