Great food (especially the pies), had to wait a little for food (granted this was peak lunch time) to come out but was worth the wait. Staff were friendly, and due to delay in food gave us some complimentary soft drinks.
Very busy with lots of office parties or group Christmas meals. The food wasn't bad given the kitchen was catering for the '5,000'. The place was organised and noisy but despite that, the staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great location in the middle of Winchester adjacent to the cathedral.
Lovely pub. Food was great. The lady in charge was very helpful. My wife has food allergies she took time to chat to us and give us options that many places wouldn't bother to do.
Fantastic place to stop for a meal, especially after exploring the Christmas Market. It’s only a short walk from the cathedral, which made it super convenient for a relaxed lunch after our visit. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. A perfect cosy pub to warm up and unwind.
