Lovely theatre, compact but stage visible wherever you sit****. Winchester council are absolutely rubbish with their car parking restrictions. They really do not want people to come into the city earlier in the day (to eat and spend money in the local businesses) THEATRE ROYAL *****. WINCHESTER COUNCIL ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

My first ever theatre vista, and we watched graffiti Classics, they were excellent, the theatre is very nice, and has a historic feel in the auditorium, highly recommended, and we will be back

I escorted an elder to see 'Oh What A Lovely War'. Not only was the production EXCELLENT but the theatre staff could not have been more accommodating to ensure my companion was given every consideration. A bonus was I could also see the production on a carers ticket, this was sincerely appreciated and I wish more venues would do the same. Thank you.

Fantastic show by Welsh National Ballet. Would like to see more of them.
My wheelchair bound husband was looked after very well and the whole evening was brilliant for us because of it. Couldn’t be bettered

It's a tale of two eras, a lovely and very old theatre full of nostalgia and a very modern front of house.

Theatre is small, which is great for new comedy acts. The two bars can deal with the numbers of people attending. However, the toilets definitely need improvement.
