Best café we've been to ever - this is our local café now because the service is very very good, something rare nowadays. We want to highlight the owners warmth and genuine kindness. Every time we come in they are welcoming and smiling, opening the doors for us when we have our baby and pram. Coffee is excellent and well priced as is the food. (Also highly recommend the milkshakes) Baby chairs and facilities available (and always clean). We always feel welcome with our baby who absolutely loves the owner! Cannot recommend highly enough. Lovely breakfast and coffee, very relaxed little cafe in an area that generally lacks options so ideal for business.
I like the traditional cafe type places - in a city that is full of over-priced, over-gentrified brunch options this is a nice choice. You get what you came for, no frills no nonsense. It is on the more expensive side for the prices I'm used to but for Winchester it is cheaper than average. To be fair, the quality is high and worth every penny.

Spacious cafe, with drinks that are worth every penny. My favourites are the chai latte 😋 and Oreo milkshake! 🧋Kids mini ice-creams with a choice of toppings, go down well with my 5 year old.
Food is also reasonable, I enjoyed my veggie breakfast. 🍳
Staff are very accommodating and friendly. They got me a bowl of warm water to keep my newborn’s milk bottle warm. 🍼Ample room for big buggies and a clean toilet with baby changing facilities.
Great local cafe for families, opposite a Waitrose, Boots and Costa. Bonus: next to a park! We often grab ice-creams and shakes and head to the park after school. Decor a little cream, but the service is second to none. 💜
