The Crafty Baa - Windermere - Photo album

The quirkiest little bar I’ve seen, lots of different beers, ales and ciders to try, big blackboard around the corner of the main bar with a list of over 100 different bottled drinks to try! More seating upstairs with a room specially dressed up for the Halloween season. There are seats outside as
Nice, cozy place with a lot of funny thing in the interior. It was a pleasure just to explore them, while drinking my pint. Wide selection of beer and cider, affordable wine and interesting food choice. I had a charcuterie&cheese slate. I can highly recommend it. It was enough for 2 hungry people
A brilliant quirky place. 🤪. You can spend hours just drinking it all in. I'd have liked more choice of real ales, but satisfied myself with some of the 96 craft bottles and cans. Friendly staff. Call me miserable, but the only downside was the presence of babies , including a pram obstructing the
Edgy but good. Smells like 10,000 beers each gave a drop to soak into the floorboards. Unique decor. Saw local youth enjoying pints, seemed 18 or 19. Was refreshing to see them drink responsibly.
One of the most reasonable neighbourhood pubs in the area, crafty baa has unique interiors and good ranges of beers. We found the prices reasonable for both drinks and food. The chicken pesto sardine is a must try. Also, the sharing combo slates are a good option. Don’t forget the nachos ! The port
A very quirky pub in the centre of Windermere. We visited for a wedding and it was great. A wide variety of drinks all at a reasonable price. They also catered for allergies including dairy and gluten free.
Really cosy place, incredible selection of alcohols. Love how unique it is with all the randomness going on, they have another wee place upstairs which is amazing 😂. Great place to catch a drink in the nice weather. Second visit 2023, place is such a great spot for an ice cold beer and wee snack. S
Highly recommend the Crafty Baa. Their cider was delicious, I had the strawberry and kiwi and it did not disappoint, and my mum had the pineapple which was also very tasty! Dog friendly, plenty of seating and reasonably priced, with interesting decor that kept us talking for a while!
Im clicking 5 stars for the drinks as we didnt have food. But this has to be one of the best, funkiest, quirky pubs ive ever been to. I love the attention to detail with everything in there! The most impressive thing was the huge selection of craft beers, sours and stouts, it was just hard to pick t
We loved every minute we spent in this unique pub. We had a hearty meal accompanied by a great pale ale. The decor is beautifully crazy, creative and funny. The next time we visit Windermere, there’s no way we won’t go back at the Crafty Baa!
Looked interesting from the outside. I wasn't disappointed. 'Querky' doesn't do it justice. I love a place the is just a wee bit different from the norm. Great selection of beers. A real fire. Friendly staff. What more do you need? My only down, on this occasion would the lack of any beer that is
Lovely food which had a bit of everything. Nice atmosphere and decorative. Very reasonable priced and love going here ever since a friend recommended it
Really cozy and some great beers. Really worth a visit. Go on the train, assuming there's no strikes' , pop in an drink in the atmosphere and the wide range of beers
Loved this place. Such a friendly atmosphere. Went a few times during our stay in Windermere. It’s so warm and cosy in there. Danny, Neil, Alina and Kim were just super lovely Baa staff. So friendly, efficient and quick. This bar gets full quick as it just attracts a lot of people. There’s a little
wonderful quirky bar with fantastic range of drinks. tried several ciders all were good. highly recomend the pineapple and mango cider.atmosphere is wonderful with very friendly helpful staff always on hand to help you choose your drinks. not tried the food yet but it looks very tasty!
The BEST cheese board I have ever eaten. Great selection of drinks and such a quirky bar. I've walked past over the years always wanting to go in but it's been so busy. Definitely don't walk past, go inside, alot more seating upstairs and it's worth the visit.
We spent 3 nights in Windermere and all of them either started or ended in the Crafty Baa! The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the beers / ciders and made recommendations. The atmosphere is welcoming, chatting to locals outside and fussing dogs inside, surrounded by the fun interi
Little gem of a pub. Quite small but a very nice atmosphere. Great selection of booze on taps and also a line of fridges where you can have a wander and try some interesting beers/ciders/IPA. Just take what you want out of the fridge and the bar staff will open it for you
Unique experience! This is a small pub with lots of personality! Great environment, nice music, good variety of beers. The down point is just for the platter. Although it was very big with lots too of bread and fruit it could have more meat and cheese. In total the big plate had only about 6 slices
