Came here for some lunch earlier this week, very nice little place, very friendly and polite staff and a very well stocked bar. My wife had the goat's cheese salad from the specials menu and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the club sandwich which was also excellent. Great deal as well, £7 for a pint an
Really enjoyed our tasty food. Would highly recommend. Staff friendly and great atmosphere. Only criticism is the plates need to be warm. We will be back
I rarely write reviews but this bar is just too good. Really amazing food, also good value for money. Lovely atmosphere and decorations, good service. I went there two times during my stay in the Lake District.

Food tastes good and the staff are kind
Friendly and helping staff, we ordered 8 different dishes and a couple of starters an everything arrived hot and on time. I really recommend the housemade burgers! Definetly coming back soon!!
Description on menus doesn't match what arrives on the plate i.e. thick cut chips with dips to share turned out to be Iceland french fries in a bowl with no dips, forks or serviettes.
