It’s more expensive than a normal ice cream shop but the portion is very generous, £4.5 one scoop.
It has many interesting flavours. Passion fruit ripple is nice, recommended!
I ordered yuzu, pineapple and mango - it tastes nice but I don’t like the texture.
My friend’s ice cream fell on the floor not long after leaving the shop and the staff is so kind to offer another one for free. They really made his day.
A beautiful little number heart set in Windermere lakes ! Over 20 flavoured ice creams ! Visited by hundreds ! The quality very generous & very creamy ! The flavours are fantastic! I had the cappuccino ice cream every bite I could taste the coffee ! It truly delivers ! £4.50 a scoop and believe me they are generous ! Dare you to try the 3 scoops !
Awesome ice cream, too many flavours that it's hard to choose. Make sure you bring an extra spoon to share with others, even one scoop is too much for one person.
Stopped by here to treat ourselves to some ice cream. We had cups with 2 scopes. One scope is the size of two scopes! So much ice cream 😀
It tasted lovely. I had chocolate brownie and salted caramel. My partner had chocolate indulgence and gingerbread. All flavours were lovely. We would definitely recommend and come back soon!
One of the reasons I chose to stay near Windereme a few weeks back was because I'd heard tell of the ice cream here and I was not disappointed. Lots of flavours on offer, even towards the end of the afternoon. I had two scoops, one of gingerbread and one of Kendal mint cake, both of which were lovely. It took me a good half an hour to finish it, worth every penny! I will definitely visit again if I'm back in the area.
Went in today (not our first visit) and I was delighted to see two new vegan options - Chocolate Mint and Cookie Dough - I got one of each scoop and loved them both (Cookie Dough was my fave!) So would definetly come back and have both again. My husband loved his choice and our pooch devoured hers. Best place for icecream that we know of in Windermere/Bowness so would defo reccomend a visit 🥰
The best ice cream shop in the lake district, the pineapple sorbetto is sublime. The portion sizes are huge, the staff are very friendly and it is a great location to sit and eat delicious ice cream after a long walk.
Very pleased with the ice cream we got from here after a long hike. Generous portions and bargain prices. We wouldn't be able to find two scoops for £4.80 back in Bristol!
Opted for strawberry milkshake and pineapple sorbet. So refreshing. Comes in a cone or cup. We might even be back tomorrow before we go home!
Absolutely amazing ice cream. Soooo delicious and such lovely staff. Made our trip away feel like a proper holiday. Can’t wait to come and visit you again to try allllll of the flavours.
Easily one of the best ice creams I’ve had in the UK. I ordered the carrot cake + banoffee while the hubby went with salted Carmel + coffee & walnut. They’ve truly perfected their flavors, so bold and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait for our next trip to the Lake District to try all the other delicious options!! Their prices may seem a bit steep but the portion sizes are generous and the taste is superb. The coffee and walnut isn’t a sweet ice-cream - it’s got a very deep, rich tone which helps cut through the sugar from the other incredible flavors.
