The Duchess Of Cambridge Pub

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Windsor castle. It’s directly across the street from the castle. We had the fish make chips and the hunter’s chicken. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is classic British pub with beautiful interior decor and the standard hanging plants outside. Definitely check this place out when in Windsor

Always our eatery of choice when we come to the theatre in Windsor. The menu is reliable and the food really good. We shared five small plates and that was more than enough for two people. The staff are just lovely. Friendly and attentive and they never rush you. It was a bit noisy this time with large parties of boisterous people but they ended up outside so things quietened down. Just a short hop down the hill to the theatre afterwards. Perfect.

Great spot to grab some grub after your tour of Windsor Castle, conveniently located on the walk back towards the train station. Has a lovely outdoor seating area in the back (it was too hot for us during our visit) but also has plenty of space to spread out inside. We ordered the steak pie and the veggie burger. Both were quite good!

Really nice, traditional atmosphere. Although a bit touristy but that's due to the location. Service was good, quick and professional. The drink selection was good, reasonably priced. Food was alright but still decently priced given the location. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the toilet(s). It's clean but if they could just place a reed diffuser or some better air freshener in there, would make a huge difference.

My friend took me here for the first time, was very impressed. From the outside it looks like a very high end restaurant but step inside and you find a friendly informal dinning experience. The staff were really helpful and service was quick. There's a large and varied menu with prices which were not too high considering the location. Food came quickly with good sized portions. Will definitely be visiting again to try something different. My only negative point was the toilets were looking a little tired and could have done with refurbishment.
