We celebrated my Dad's 83rd birthday at Cattle Grid, and it was absolutely fantastic! I can not rate this restaurant higher. The hospitality received from the Owner was impeccable, and we felt extremely cared for! The food, as usual, was amazing, the service was exceptional! If in Windsor, this is definitely a place you would want to visit. Thanks again to all the staff for a wonderful experience.

Quite simply the best meal we have ever had.
Fancied a change so called in as next to our hotel.
The welcome and service was outstanding, genuinely interested in us and why we were in town without being over the top.
Owen served us, made sure we had everything and.more, extra oil appeared out of nowhere, chilled bottled water from the outset.
Then came the food and what cab I say but OMG, the flavours just exploded in your mouth, rich, natural and cooked to perfection.
We had rib eye and fillet cooked faultlessly, with onion rings and mushrooms that were simply incredible.
So glad we came, would visit windsor specifically to eat here, will 100% be back.

Had a steak sandwich — meat was good and the BBQ sauce hit the spot. Staff were cool, food came quick. Wasn't big on the chips, but the rest was solid.

We had a lovely dining experience here with our four children (one in a pram so didn’t eat) the staff made a fuss of the children and were accommodating to their dietary needs. Our steaks were cooked really well, I’m pleased we decided to eat here. Top marks!

This place is amazing. Tucked away but an absolute gem. We went with 4 kids and the staff could not make us feel more welcome. Brilliant service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again next time we’re in Windsor! Thank you

Best place for ribs. Service is outstanding. Food is exceptional. Never ever had a bad meal here! The kids love it. The husband loves it. I love it. Win win.

First time visit to Windsor and we found this place on Google so called and booked a table. We had the ribs, steak and burger and all were amazing. I especially enjoyed the string onions. Would definitely recommend and we will come again.

The price is fair. It is worth to try!
Roasted garlic bread is crunchy with rich butter flavour. Nachos are cheesy. Flat iron is tender and surprisingly good but the ribs are a little bit too salty with too much sauce. Chicken wings are a little bit dry and too sour. The waffle is not recommended.
