Parking a pain but the place is worth the effort Quiet early doors, so great for groups, or the quiet tipple.. brilliant ale selection. Always working with food vendors so ask at the bar or online. Entertainment a plenty. Including an amazing selection of music acts

Found the room to be a bit small, but very clean and comfortable. Our room faced the beer garden, but the pub closes at 10pm, so there were no issues with noise. We enjoyed the pub very much. It’s got a good selection of beers, and food is available here, too. It’s in easy walking distance of Windsor Castle and the nearby shops. All of the inn and pub staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Tucked away from tourist hoards, but offering friendly service, accommodation and good beer. Lots of space and a good sized beer garden. Only a 10 min walk from the castle and worth it.

Myself, mum and daughter had picked the Windsor Trooper for our annual trip to Windsor/London. We honestly couldn't fault this hotel at all. In comparison to the other hotels we had stayed in the past we all agreed that this hotel exceeded in value for money, service and hospitality. We will definitely be coming back here in the future. The hotel staff even went out of their way to try and help us out with our journey into London due to issues with train strikes. This was done completely off their own back and very much appreciated. Thank you very much and hopefully we will see you next year 😊

Flew to London Heathrow all the way from CA, and this was our very first taste of England after a long, tiring flight. My first ever time to an English Pub, and The Windsor Trooper exceeded all of my high expectations. Open early, great pies, great beers and ciders, great service, and just over all great vibes. The wife and I stayed at an AirBnB while taking a day to rest before flying over to Greece, and our only regret from using Windsor as a rest stop is that we didn't book a room at The Windsor Trooper instead.

Deceptively small. Cosy main bar, large eating area and a huge outside area! Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming

Always an enjoyable visit. A great mix of super staff, lovely locals, global guests & excellent entertainment. Less than a 5 minute walk to the castle & shops, this is a true gem & highly recommend 💜

Visited the pub to see a band and wasn't disappointed. The pub is lovely, a great outside seating area mostly covered. Great selection of drinks. Food was lovely as were the bar staff. Will definitely visit again.
