Bought a sirloin steak today. Dusted it with sea salt and black pepper. Seared both sides added butter and garlic to pan basted till just on the rare side of medium rare.
Absolutely beautiful Well worth the money you can't go wrong with good products and with meat like that no need for these fancy rubs.

This family butchers is my local and must say it's the best in Durham. Excellent produce from local farms. The attached cafe is a must. I know of people coming from out of area for the pies. 5 stars from me!

Always Quality, Meat and pastries 1at class meat that's sourced through out our region. Fantastic Local producers. If not one of the best Butchers in the north east...plus has Cafe on the side entrance..Never Disappoints..

Working in the area and dropped in for some dinner. Easily the best steak pie I've ever had. Was completely filled with lovely steak that fell apart to the touch. Prices are good too.

First time at the café...phoned my order in earlier...well done egg and crispy bacon sandwich...both well done and tasted great!...fast and efficient service and will be back again for my bait 👍
