Just had a great meal and the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and fun. 100% will be back in there probably before the weekend ends!

Locally sourced food.
Visited initially for Sunday Roast. That was fantastic. We were tempted back for an evening meal. Again, locally sourced burgers (from the butchers across the road). Amazing, tasty burgers. Desserts were super too. Apple crumble highly recommended.

An absolutely superb pub. We stopped in as we were nearby, and we couldn't be more impressed.
The bar is lovely, with carved wood and a good atmosphere, as well as good drinks selection.
The food was top notch pub grub, and we were grateful that the chef was very accommodating for some modifications for the children. The burgers are amazing, and sourced from the butcher across the road. The local sourcing runs through the menu and you can taste the quality.
Would definitely recommend, and we'll be back.
Fantastic meal here - friendly welcome on arrival and great service throughout. We've been several times and never had a disappointing meal. The fish and chips batter isn't greasy and has a great taste, chips are big n chunky and the belly pork was amazing. Good range of Sam's Ciders available which are brewed in Winkleigh.

Lovely pub in a lovely location. Tasty food but the portions are very small for the money charged.
Absolutely amazing food and fantastic staff. We had a table for 6. Couldn't fault it. Very dog friendly. I wish this was our local.
Fabulous roast beef and sticky toffee pudding t today . Sat outside in glorious sunshine. Great staff and service. A perfect - and memorable - Sunday lunch.
Family meal had here whilst on holiday. Food was fabulous, pie, lobster and burgers ordered.

Fantastic service, friendly and accommodating, lovely local pub with a fantastic menu that caters for vegans. We especially loved the rack of ribs and hollumi burger. Well worth a visit, we look forward to visiting again!
