A really nicely presented cottage! It had everything you would need for a self-contained break!! The hosts all live next door, but leave you to get on with your holiday, unless you do need then? Lovely place, lovely people, and i would recommend it to anyone..!!
Stayed at Hagg Hill Farm Cottage. The cottage is really nice and well equipped and it's location is great for walks with the dog along the nearby river. Short drive into Newcastle and 20 minutes from the coast at Tynemouth. My only negative would be the small garden area could use a bit of tlc. A few plants would help and removal of a few discarded domestic items that are past their best.
Great stay in beautiful cottage. Clean and everything you need for a lovely stay. Handy for metro centre and Newcastle centre and fab walk on the derwent valley. Lovey pubs in the area and takeaway information is in the cottage. Will be back
Lovely friendly greeting, the lady even gave us a bottle of wine and beer! Great for a group of friends, very peaceful and cozy. Also a great pub nearby and not far from the station.
Absolutely the best yard around this area and the coffee in the tea room is excellent. Well worth a visit.
Gladly let me look around the glass shop and the horse yard.

Had a great time here. Stayed in the shepherd hut. Great fun with my 6 year old son.
Great spot for coffee. Bought our Christmas tree here too and the customer service is fantastic .
