Called in Friday for pie and chips. Wow ! Chips were beautiful and the steak pie was faultless. It’s my little treat when I’m in Winsford. Apparently the pies are made in house. You must try them !

Good fish and chips, freshly cooked when I wemt in - BUT - £10.30 for a 'large' fish and a portion of chips that fits in a box 11" x 6" x 2" and a small mushy peas just seems too much.

Food is good, steak pie was real steak, not fatty at all. Chips were good, can't really go wrong with chips. The gravy was excellent had a beef flavour to it, very good indeed.
The only thing that let it down for me was that it's a bit dearer than other chippies in the area.

Very nice pies, chips were a little undercooked.
The prices are astronomical, there is a notice on the wall saying why their prices are so high., I simply just do t get it. Other chip shops who are as good of not better are a lot cheaper. For instance there is a chip shop in castle renowned for excellence and all the different types of fish they have and has national award and they are slot ch aper than here. The only thing that will bring me back is the pies but there again they are very expensive for what they are. There are other bakers in the area will equally as good pies for less money.

Really great quality Fish and chips, you may have to wait, as they usually cook to order, so fish is fresh. Fruit pies are excellent too. Don't believe someone has given this 1 star, maybe it's a competitor.

Really nice chips. Pies say homemade and you cant argue after tasting them. We travel from northwich to here when we fancy a chippy tea. Worth the journey and still piping hot when we get home. Highly recommend.
