Great place to visit for Sunday roast lovely staff reasonable

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Biryani curry made mild for us with less spices and was perfect. Thoroughly recommend for a lovely meal and superb service.
Only negative was that it was difficult to hear the Bollywood music due to music playing in the main bar.

Not lived in the area long and went a couple of weeks ago for Sunday lunch and went back the following weekend. Claire the manageress is lovely and made us feel most welcome.
Chef carves an amazing roast and the portions are superb. The rage of veg is astounding. All freshly cooked no frozen and served hot.

We visited the Black Bear on a Monday for the Indian banquet night. The food was excellent, and the service was superb, specifically - Courtney on the bar and Olivia and John in the restaurant. The prices are reasonable, too. Only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because it was a Monday and it wasn't particularly busy, which is a shame because the food was SO good. We will definitely be back.
