Came here for Sunday roast dinner . Recommend the lamb excellent portion and very tasty.

Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Couldn't fault anything. Highly recommend. Fish and chips were perfection, light and crispy batter, succulent cod inside. Very crispy chips with fluffy potato inside. Best we have had! Desserts were good too.

Three friends & I had a lovely evening last night. The food was very delicious, we had mushroom risotto, pie & vegetables & specials board venison & vegetables, then sticky toffee pudding, trio ice cream & apple crumble/custard. Pudding was so nice nearly forgot a photograph!! The staff were very friendly & helpful. Lovely atmosphere, we went very early evening. It did get a bit noisy, when other people arrived somewhat later, in the room as there are no carpets.

Real old pub where you can just have a drink or a light or full meal, food excellent top restaurant standard. Staff friendly and helpful. Almost loath to recommend in case it becomes too busy so I can't return!

Had lunch here today, such a lovely place. The food was great. We had Lasagne and The Green Man Burger meals with onion rings, and all the food was amazing. Staff were excellent and friendly. Would highly recommend and will return if in the area again.

Stumbled across this by accident when going cross country to Burnham. What a fabulous little country pub! The food was awesome (we all had roasts) and the staff were great. Look forward to visiting again.

The food was very good and plentiful. Well cooked and presented with a good choice. Service was friendly and efficient. Everything seemed fresh and local. An excellent meal out on a sunny Wednesday night. Recommend. Mixed meat starter; seared tuna special; sticky toffee pudding. Coffee was top rate. 3 courses for 2 people with drinks and service around £75.

We had the Sunday roast lunch and we couldn't fault it. We went there for my Husband's birthday lunch and was not disappointed. Crispy and fluffy roast potatoes, fabulous home cooked yorkshire pudding, excellent cuts of meat cooked to perfection, along with the veg, at extremely reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and welcoming and gave a great service. We only gave a 4 Star rating for the atmosphere as we had a fairly early lunch, so it was a little quiet, but the background music was nice. Give it a try, you definitely won't be disappointed. Its definitely our No.1 place to go for Sunday roast 😊👍.
