Popped in for a cold drink on a sunny Sunday afternoon, it was empty, but the barman was pleasant when serving.

Had a great night, bar staff were quick to serve, family came from all over Essex and London and all in all enjoyed the evening only had 1 incident that was an issue but the landlord Kevin sorted it.

A bit rowdy on big match days. Beer knocked over our coats.
Update: (and thanks for the reply). I tried to keep the review short and of course being rowdy is not a problem, to be expected for a big match. As well as the football and rugby there was a birthday celebration. My issue was more to do with the 2 oiks that threw the beer and started having a go when I complained. Tempers flared, we settled it, they calmed down. All over quickly. We both supported the losing side so maybe understandable.
Rating lifted to r stars and I will be back next time we're on.
