Our second visit to this pub was a completely different one to the first. The barmaid was first class, a true star! The locals who were dining were friendly and chatty. The food was all homemade, fresh and top quality. The portion sizes were huge - we couldn't finish. Excellent!

This place has the best food!!!!!!!! Ordered a mix grill and when he came out he brought a salad with peas and home made chips....I though a Yorkshire mixed grill must be different!! And then this hot sizzling plate of meat arrived and omg it was amazing for the price the size if the meal was an absolute bargain. Kids meals are well worth it and they also get free ice cream for after. I've brought many friends in here and they too have tried various things on the menu and every meal has been perfect.

The commercial is a great traditional pub in Withernsea. Good beer and good food.

Excellent food freshly cooked by Les. Massive portions hence no dessert menu as nobody has room for one after the main course. Inexpensive, quality food, well presented. Ignore slightly dated decor, restaurant part of pub very clean with great staff and first class service.

Les makes the best pub grub in withernsea. I love his fish and chips and my husband loves the sirloin ( which is always a mam sized piece) or the steak pie. His chips are delicious, home made and plentiful. I can honestly say, it is well worth the money.

Friendly atmosphere, usually at least 3 guest beers on, as well as the usual standard beers and lagers. Food served daily of fine standard, all round good public house.

Nice pint of Doom Bar plus one other guest beer. Friendly staff....Nice welcome. Typical small town centre pub.
