Not a chippy fan anymore, but the fish and chips I got were amazing. Good old-fashioned chips with a dark colour to them. Nice chuncky fish, not disguised with a ton of batter.

Good old school chippy. Food was good but only negative experience was the cash only option. There is a sign on the door but this is displayed behind you when you walk in. Would recommend a cash only sign on view at counter side making it more visible.

Came here whilst on holiday, the food was great and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend. (Ended up eating here two nights in a row).

Quite easily the best Chippy this side of hornsea. The price, quality and service was fantastic. Traveled from hull as sick of getting ripped off there for my Chippy. Will defo be back

Helpful, welcoming, fast service. Cannot recommend highly enough. The sea is just a few minutes down the road to add to the experience.

Sorry Mr lighthouse keeper, but you don't do fresh fried giant flaky white fish, chunky chips and thick green mushy peas for half the price you pay in Hornsea!

Have to agree with all the other reviews. Classic old school chippy. Hidden away from the crowds on way to the lifeboat station.
Very friendly server/owner.
Settled for fish, chips, curry sauce and scraps.
Curry smooth, not the usual rubbish with bits in.
Fish and chips cooked in the right stuff and to perfection
