Cafe Rouge Witney

The food there was really good, we had the crispy calamari and smoked salmon pate as starters, both of them were really good and especially the calamari were really crispy and not chewy. Then Dragos was really helpful in providing suggestions on the mains, so I've ended up with the Beef bourguignon which was perfect. All in all a good experience, thank you.

Ate here with a friend 3 weeks ago. This is a lovely restaurant and food is excellent. Unfortunately, restaurant was understaffed. There were only 2 members of staff - Morgan and Bex who were rushing around and doing their very best to accommodate the number of people in the restaurant. When questioned about the staffing level, we were advised that management allocate staff on the number of tables booked, without taking into account the location of this restaurant i.e next door to Cineworld and the fact that several people just turn up for a meal before or after visiting the cinema without booking. I eat at this restaurant quite regularly so not put off by the slowness of the service and big thumbs up to the 2 members of staff I have mentioned especially Bex as it was only her second week and she was still in training.
