Lovely beer garden in the summer. The chips here are some of the best I've had in a long time. The twice cooked hand cut chips are creamy and taste like roast potatoes, and the skin on fries are beautiful too. Had a great veggie burger here and apparently the sausage sandwich is nice too.

Turned up on a Saturday night in August. Desperate for fish and chips, what a disappointment. The most expensive thing on the menu was bland no seasoning and tasted of water. Deep frozen everything I guess. Great pub that has the opportunity to serve something special but oh so sad!
