Helping with a move and popped out for lunch. Saw this as we were passing, got a free carpark opposite. Driving d6id could not sample the beers, the food was well above average pub fayre.

Lovely beer garden in the summer. The chips here are some of the best I've had in a long time. The twice cooked hand cut chips are creamy and taste like roast potatoes, and the skin on fries are beautiful too. Had a great veggie burger here and apparently the sausage sandwich is nice too.

Turned up on a Saturday night in August. Desperate for fish and chips, what a disappointment. The most expensive thing on the menu was bland no seasoning and tasted of water. Deep frozen everything I guess. Great pub that has the opportunity to serve something special but oh so sad!
