Fantastic food and service, we went there at short notice for a Sunday lunch with one our daughters and we were not disappointed, the vegetables were the best we’ve had at a restaurant. The turkey was amazing and the beef was cooked to perfection.
Affordable prices too, costing less than we both thought including pudding and drinks.
We visited on impulse recently during the day. It's a nice place to go. Quirky decor inside and plenty of green space outdoors including a play area.
Staff were really friendly and the table service was prompt.
Not a massive choice of food but the price for 3 courses was pretty good and the food quality is miles above a chain pub. The only complaint we had was that they burnt one of the desserts.
Just popped in after a long journey. Lovely friendly welcome. Good choice on the menu. Opted for Sea bass, which was cooked beautifully and served on artichoke, edamame peas and green beans. Absolutely delicious 😊. Eton mess for dessert with a hint of coconut and juicy pineapple, lovely combination. Will definitely be going back.
First time visit and I will be back next time I am staying in this area. Pate, 8oz burger with extra coleslaw and poached pear to finish. Pint of local brew for £16.20. I cannot remember when I had such good value food. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Well done the Fish.

Delicious food and good service. One of the best vegan food we had. The theme inside the restaurant was good with all social distancing norms in place. They have some special deals as well so better book before making a visit. Definitely planning to visit again soon.
Beautiful interior, nice range of options for food. Coffee was really good and the homemade food was really tasty and fresh. Prices were reasonable, would go again 😊
Lovely place and food is really good. Never disappoints. This time they forgotten the Nachos starter but actually it would have been too much food :). The staff are really kind. Christmas decoration right now and festive menus available. Would recommend.
Been to the fish plenty over the years, but generally in the summer for sandwiches / burgers etc. First time sitting down for a roast here and it was amazing!! Had the biggest mussels I've ever seen to start, then a very generous portion of roast for main. Got pigs in blankets, stuffing and cauliflower cheese on the side, and the portions were literally twice as big as I imagined! Haha! Very tasty, and very reasonable. Will definitely be back for more of this!
Great little pub. I did have a run in with some 6ft geese, lucky I didn't have my four ounce gloves on as there were two of them! Ghastly things. 4 stars ❤️
Went there to celebrate my boys 7th birthday in December. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. The decor was extremely quirky and so different from other restaurants. You have to see it to believe it! Recommend visiting!
