Lovely place, beautiful decor, food was excellent and the staff amazing. They were so friendly and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble, they genuinely wanted our Christmas works lunch to be perfect. Would definitely recommend �
Visited again with party of 7 for 80th Birthday including 2 overseas visitors who are used to best in world. Lovely welcome, service, food and the drinkers really rated the wine.
Earlier visit: Brilliant food on a Monday evening when restaurant was busy - which says a lot. So impressed booked a table for 7 for special family meal.

Milton Keynes is a town located about 45 miles north west of London. It takes around 1.5 hours to drive from London or about 35 minutes by train. As I will be visiting this area periodically over the next few years (while my husband completes his Doctorate program at Cranfield University), I am using my time to discover a few local gems. Doing a little research, following my successful discovery of The Carrington Arms, I hit upon The Birch at Woburn.

Very nice find, tucked away in Woburn. A bit of a tardis as once you enter the clever use of an open plan kitchen combined with linking 4 different buildings and a conservatory together really does give quite a large restaurant. Friendly staff and very fresh, flavorful food was on offer. We enjoyed the sea bass and a steak but the pea soup of the day was a huge hit. The delicious chocolate dessert, nicely presented with spun chocolate, rounded off a lovely meal. Thoroughly recommend if you are in the area and lookout for a full blog review coming very soon.

We went for a Sunday roast. We’d pre-booked, with requests and all were accommodated. Food was great, but the service was fairly slow, we weren’t offered any additional drinks and had to ask a few times just to get some tap water. All the staff were very friendly though
They have two disabled parking bays but the are against a wall, so we really struggled to get my elderly grandparents out of the car. Would highly suggest they move these to make them more accessible
Although I have known of The Birch for many years, it's taken me this long to actually visit and I wish I had sooner. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and it didn't disappoint..The food and service were impeccable. The service was friendly and attentive, never intrusive. The menu has something for everyone and there were also many additional dishes on the specials menu. Pricing is toward the upper end but appropriate for the level of quality on offer

Lovely Sunday lunch in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed ambience, pleasant staff. Gets busy so parking not easy.

Probably our third visit to The Birch. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant. We went for an anniversary celebration and from the moment we walked in the staff we friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and it was a lovely touch to be given an anniversary card by the team . It’s not a cheap meal out if that is what you are looking for but it’s worth every penny for the fantastic service and delicious food . Thank you for a lovely evening .
The food was great, but what stood out was the service. Drink and food orders were taken quickly and we were regularly checked on throughout the meal. Everything came out promptly and tasted great.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Birch today. They have only just reopened and were very busy but everything was great.
Every member of staff seemed happy and were all very personable, a great example of how hospitality should be.
Food was equally great and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic food, very attentive staff and a bright and vibrant atmosphere.
We had a beautiful lunch at The Birch today and will most definitely return. The manager was very hands on and provided us with a great overview of the menu, the wider team were also very attentive and efficient. The food was flawless, fantastic portions, really fresh and flavourful. Great value for money.
We were able to view the Sunday Lunch menu whilst we were there, it looks tremendous. Highly recommend.
