I was dragged here as a child. Very different atmosphere as an adult. Took my wife there a handful of times (she's not from round here) and later my mother in law too. We were often forgot about but the food was awesome!

Great little pub, I’m not a local but my husband & I popped in here on a Friday night, good busy atmosphere, space available to sit.
Food was good & plenty on offer as a plant based individual (allergies) I had the ‘Chicken skewers’ & Vegan Burger, both really tasty & cooked well, my husband enjoyed the steak & would also recommend!

Visited the Sovereigns this Bank Holiday weekend, it was advertised as the Sovs Fest, a charity function, with local singers and bands playing for free, some seriously talented musicians from around the Woking Surrey area, there was entertainment for all the family, I gave the face painting a miss, but was really pleasing to see the very young and some not so young partaking. The whole day was filled fun and music, a wonderful event from the Sovereigns team. Well Done to you all.

A gem of a pub in Woking. The food was good but it’s the service and hospitality that makes me leave a review. I ordered two dishes and one of them, the mixed grill. I got a rather overcooked steak the first go, that’s why I asked the waitress to see if she can reflect that to the kitchen. She offered to cook me another one immediately. And of course, the second one was much better. The grilled food are Smokey and have good flavours, well seasoned. I’d come back for sure to try the fish and chips.

Really really good pub great for service never had a problem regarding service food is really good in terms of quality and taste it can sometimes be a bit underwhelming at times regarding quantity however at the price point it is it's fairly reasonable drinks are pretty standard however they're not extortionate
Overall, if I could I would rate it 4.5 is I could but that's not an option with google ratings
