I was using an afternoon tea voucher&took my mother for a treat. The sandwiches were delicious, toasted with mozzarella cheese on the outside & ham inside. Very tasty. The waiter gave us a larger table which had great views to people watch. Tea was hit & no problems having pot refilled with hot water. Staff were friendly, professional & helpful. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

I went there for a light lunch with a friend. The place is very chill and relaxing with nice atmosphere and kind staff. They were very friendly and communicative and helped me choose what i want from the menu. The potato hash with duck is probably the best thing i have eaten in a while in a restaurant. Had a very nice time. Coffee was also great and with a lovely touch. Really impressed by the overall of the place.
Definitely recommend this place if you want something nice to eat, a place to relax in and friendly and helpful staff.
10 out of 10 in my books :)

I've liked all of the food I've had here. You can usually google search for a voucher code to get a good discount. Staff are friendly and want you to enjoy dining there. Outside seating too.

Very delicious food but the service was slightly slow. Didn't have a number of food items during my visit. In the bathroom the hot and cold tap signs were on the wrong taps.

Had a really great evening meal out this evening on my dad's birthday. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, staff were lovely and polite and the food was nice. Ordered food like soup, chicken and fish and chips. It was all cooked and brought out in a timely manner. Thanks for the tea and coffee.
Normally this Cafe Rouge is quite quiet and the service with quite attentive too. I haven't had a bad experience yet but some of things are quite expensive that i haven't had. I would recommend looking at their new 2 courses set menu which seems to be quite good! The food is nice and the restaurant decor is nice too. If you haven't been, try it out.

Food was great as usual but service considerably lacking due to not enough staff in the kitchen or the front of house. Frustrating to see food that was ready sitting under a heat lamp for up to 15mins even though the bell was rung for service.
The table behind us were told there was a 30min wait for food & this was not a full lunch service.
Our waitress was helpful & we were right ketchup straight away after asking for it. Hope they can get some more staff soon.
