We have been there twice, in May (chilly al fresco) and last week 8 August; both occasions the food, the staff - Amy on the 8th in particular - atmosphere were perfect. I had the same in May and August - mint/pea soup and the lamb; thoroughly enjoyable.

Superb, much better than I could have expected!
The flavours were beautifully balanced, fresh and exciting. Interesting uses of unusual ingredients for vegetarians and gluten free meals.

Very much enjoyed our trip to The Stables. Stopped in for a light bite and a drink over lunch. Outdoor area with music was perfect for a Saturday in the sun. Staff very friendly. Shame it wasn't a little busier to help with the atmosphere but would recommend!

This place has really turned around since their new chef has come in. The service is wonderful and matched with amazing food it makes for a lovely evening, well worth a visit. The new pizza oven outside in the garden with authentic Italian style pizzas is to die for. Highly recommend trying this place if you get the opportunity!

Had a couple of afternoon drinks with the family and friends on a Sunday afternoon. Very friendly and attentive staff. I especially appreciate the kindness shown to our kids. Highly recommend and we will be returning to check out the excellent sounding menu.

The most amazing Valentines Day meal ever! Beautifully presented plates of absolutely delicious food from start to finish. Service superb too! The perfect evening. Thanks to everyone who made it so special!

Service could have been better. Was given soup spoons to eat our dessert and was told they had no cutlery as it needed polishing.
Had to wait for one of the meals my friends had nearly eaten theres before we got the final meal a bit disappointing.
12.5% service charge is added to the bill!

Just a short walk from our house, have had a few drinks over the summer. Shade in garden so tend to sit outside. Often walk up with visiting friends/family always very enjoyable. Had a few meals again with friends at lunchtime where we can sit in the garden. Food is very good for the price. They have just installed a pizza oven in the garden, not used yet but a certainty when the grandkids come.
