Perfect way to start the week - my Monday motivation :)
Had the usual oat and soy latte with a touch of vanilla sugar free syrup and a savoury galette.

It really is a joyful experience visiting Joy Cafe. The owner is just such a lovely man. It's a shame that the place isn't larger with more seating.

Absolutely lovely shop - friendly owner, delicious crepes with loads of options (including vegan!)
Sometimes it is busier on a weekend day (unsurprisingly it is very popular!!), but usually a very quick service - perfect before/after a trip to Waitrose.
They also have loyalty cards which they keep on file for you so you don’t have to worry about losing!

Valentin is the nicest, most hospitable guy. He loves good food, loves his community and this place is a pure delight! I had the matcha vanilla latte and the savoury crepe - all organic, gluten free, high protein, gorgeous and healthy! A MUST visit. Can't wait to come back.

What a lovely little hole in the wall! Excellent french crêpes (savory and sweet) and delicious homemade gelato. Lots of vegan and gluten free options, and v friendly owner Valentin. Coffee blend isnt my favourite, but it is made well :)

This independent gem deserves the title of "best café ever", "best quality food and drinks" and "best owner"! Valentine really provides top notch, high-quality food, drinks and experiences,always going above and beyond to delight customers.

So nice to sit outside this cute little place and enjoy a home made ice cream, latte, and/or pancake. The friendly, welcoming owner can adapt to suit dietary challenges too.

This is an AMAZING little place, and it would seem not enough locals have discovered JOY! If only I lived or worked in Wokingham I’d be here all the time. Coffee, Crepes, Ice cream all 10/10 it doesn’t taste better than this. The quality of the ingredients and passion of the owner to serve the best he can shows through in every sip and bite. Delicious food, super friendly service, I’m sure if JOY wasn’t hidden away just off the Waitrose car park and more folk knew, there’d be a queue down the street!
