Absolutely lovely shop - friendly owner, delicious crepes with loads of options (including vegan!)
Sometimes it is busier on a weekend day (unsurprisingly it is very popular!!), but usually a very quick service - perfect before/after a trip to Waitrose.
They also have loyalty cards which they keep
Valentin is the nicest, most hospitable guy. He loves good food, loves his community and this place is a pure delight! I had the matcha vanilla latte and the savoury crepe - all organic, gluten free, high protein, gorgeous and healthy! A MUST visit. Can't wait to come back.

What a lovely little hole in the wall! Excellent french crĂŞpes (savory and sweet) and delicious homemade gelato. Lots of vegan and gluten free options, and v friendly owner Valentin. Coffee blend isnt my favourite, but it is made well :)

This is an AMAZING little place, and it would seem not enough locals have discovered JOY! If only I lived or worked in Wokingham I’d be here all the time. Coffee, Crepes, Ice cream all 10/10 it doesn’t taste better than this. The quality of the ingredients and passion of the owner to serve the best

After getting my hair cut i thought id pop in for a coffee. The gentleman was so welcoming and kind and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. He makes all his cakes and ice creams in the shop and hes got a brilliant little set up. The gelato was stunning and smooth and the cappuccino was lovely.
This independent gem deserves the title of "best café ever", "best quality food and drinks" and "best owner"! Valentine really provides top notch, high-quality food, drinks and experiences,always going above and beyond to delight customers.
Visited today with a couple friends. Delicious coffee and ice cream, and amazing brownies 🥰. Service was very friendly and the owner was chatting with everyone he served. Can’t recommend enough. I will be back. PS hubby loved the ice cream and nutty brownie ❤️
Such a great little find, crepes were the best I've had I highly recommend lemon and sugar. Lovely staff, even left the till to come over and say thank you for visiting us when we had finished and we're already walking away. Will be returning.
Absolutely adorable café, delicious moccas where Valentino who runs the establishment crafts his own blend (3 different chocolates) and amazing crepes (I only thought of taking the photo after eating the the pancake). He makes all the food and drinks in front of you and its definitely worth the wait

Best customer service award goes to them honestly. The food there is AMAZING and I finished my crepe super quickly even though I was already full haha. The people there was super nice too when I was walking by and checking out the cafe not sure if I should order something or not, the lady there smil
The coffee is brilliant. I'm so pleased to be able to get great coffee in Wokingham. I'm an Aussie so I know what I'm talking about ;). Valentin makes his own amazing soft serve ice cream, too.
So nice to sit outside this cute little place and enjoy a home made ice cream, latte, and/or pancake. The friendly, welcoming owner can adapt to suit dietary challenges too.
It really is a joyful experience visiting Joy Cafe. The owner is just such a lovely man. It's a shame that the place isn't larger with more seating.
