The Rose Inn

We came here for Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic. Hot and tasty. We did have to wait quite a while for our lunch, but that was sorted out, and it was worth the wait. The team here are fabulous. Friendly and helpful. A credit to the Rose. The Interior is lovely, modern restaurant, cosy drinking area and nice outside when warm enough. Great atmosphere. Thank you, we will be back.

Great meal here. The atmosphere was lovely, buzzing but not overly loud. Very pretty looking to the outside space with lots of light in the back area due to the part glass ceiling. Good classics with a twist. Sausage and mash with peas, beans and kale. You can almost tell yourself it is healthy...I loved my nourish bowl and I added halloumi with came with a bit of a kick. We shared a started of a Turkish lamb flatbread. Lovely and with good service and an excellent Maitre D

I visited on Sunday and we all ordered the roast dinner. I had chicken and the others had pork and beef. We were all very happy. The service was fantastic, something I find lacking In lots of establishments post pandemic. The entire place is very beautifully decorated, the garden is beautiful and so pretty. The staff are amazing and very helpful. My new go to in Wokingham. Thank you for a lovely visit, I will definitely be back.

First visit. Incredibly warm welcome from the moment we walked in. Gorgeous food, value for money especially compared to other restaurants in the area. Lovely vibe and atmosphere... genuinely the staff made this place a real treat and we will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. Can't wait to go back!

This place was highly recommended by my friend. The level of customer service we received was fantastic. The staff are welcoming, friendly, polite, and attentive. There is a fun food menu for the kids. The chef made bunny rabbit pizzas as well as a non dairy pizza for my friends' children. There is a good selection of wine and food from the main menu and options for vegetarians and vegans. My friend has been to The Rose Inn on a few occasions and highly recommends the food. You will not be disappointed, this place is known for their pizzas they are light and cooked to perfection. The salads are fantastic, as well as the burgers. Portions are generous, and you definitely get your money's worth. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can tell the quality of ingredients used. It was a nice family meal, definitely will be back again.

We have been to the Rose several times and it has always been fantastic - our most recent visit was no exception. A warm welcome on arrival, good food and great wine, and a thoughtful and attentive team looking after you In particular I'd like to praise Kira, who looked after us this time around. She was so helpful and thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble. Great food and great people - I cannot recommend the Rose highly enough

We visited on Mothers Day. Very busy. The table was for 10. Some of the food was good but the soup arrived hardly warm. It had taken so long to arrive that we just decided not to send it back. I had a roast but the potatoes were hard and not crispy. The waiters were very nice but everything took hours to arrive. We left before the dessert as we had been there for 3 hours. When I had time to check the large bill properly at home I found I had been charged £18 for a roast chicken we hadn’t had. We have since returned on a lovely day. Double doors open to the garden. Cod and chips beautifully cooked. Service excellent. Just myself and my husband. I have increased the star rating.
