The food is always superb. We've never had a single hint of a bad experience. The staff are wonderful, efficient, friendly and so perfectly placed within the restaurant.
Yes the restaurant is on a busy road but it doesn't detract from the brilliant setting, great music, and warm welcoming atmosphere. The food and wine is fairly priced for the excellent quality. The squid ink ravioli I had for a starter tonight was sensational and the duck for my main was sublime! I'd highly recommend it to anyone!
I'm really surprised it doesn't have a Michelin Star!
Great authentic Italian food, staff all attentive and friendly! Good gluten free/vegan options for people who want that! Nice interior design! Would definitely recommend!
Lovely food, good service and a nice place to visit. A little pricey and no draught beers, so only bottles on sale and the downside to this, is that can make it expensive. They're not charging anymore than you would pay anywhere else (£4) for birra moretti or peroni, but that makes it £8 a pint! Overall excellent though and will definitely return
Clean and bright restaurant with very attentive staff. Had the midweek special which was 2 courses for £20 with dessert for £5.00 excellent food, staff very friendly and welcoming. Been a very long time since last visit but will be going more often now.

Delicious food. Outstanding service. Spinach side dish was so tasty and the creme brulee was perfect. Staff were attentive. Delighted to have found this gem of a restaurant. I hope I have an opportunity to visit again.
Amazing staff, food, drink and service. I had dined last year and was pleased with mostly the food which lived up to expectations. I hired the restaurant for my birthday celebrations on 8th January 2023. The communication from start to finish was excellent with responses within a reasonable timeframe. All information requested was clear for me to organise my private dining experience. The presentation of the welcome drinks was creative as I had no idea what non-alcohol alternative to the Prosecco Bellini’s would look like. I put my trust in the staff and was not disappointed. The feedback from my 35 invited guest, including the children is a 5 star, thumps up.

Charming Italian with a nice selection of gluten free options. It gets very busy later on so get an early booking ;). I had the scallops to start with & salmon with peas puree for the main. I usually loathe sorbet as a coeliac but the mango one is delish x

THE FOOD HERE WAS AMAZING. I’ve never tasted such great Italian food. My only gripe was that even though we booked we still had wait quite some time. They did make sure we were good for drinks and regularly updated us. You must go if you’ve not been before. They even got my wife extra virgin olive oil

Have been wanting to try this place for some time based on reviews and driving past often especially with it being an independent restaurant rather than part of a chain which I would always choose. Initially the welcome and seating we couldn't complain. Following Covid guidelines again excellent. The service from the waitress and the knowledge about the food again we have no complaints it was all very pleasant and we were made to feel welcome. But where this place disappointed was the food. My wife's soup of the day was she said excellent and no complaints but my calamari was clearly overcooked and very rubbery in texture. When it came to mains my wife ordered the chicken escalope and I had the duck, we ordered some potatoes as a side. When it came the the accompaniments there were no complaints but the chicken escalope my wife found dry and my duck, the skin was not crispy, not rendered properly, the meat was fine but unrendered duck fat/skin is not pleasant to eat. I recommend this restaurant for it's decor, service and friendly, knowledgeable staff who look after you very well. But the food was not to the standard you expect from what you would hope are professional chefs. A bit of a mixed review. Service, decor, ambience can't complain, food could be better.
