The Queens Cantonese Restaurant

Absolutely fantastic food! I first discovered this restaurant over 10 years ago on a business trip and the food is still just as good today (I always recommend it to anyone asking where to eat in Wolverhampton). The crispy chilli beef is the best I've ever had. And it's VERY reasonably priced (dinner for four adults, including drinks was £111).

Best restaurant we've been to in a long time for a work event before visiting Tata Steel up the road. The Queens Cantonese is run by a special family who touched our hearts. It was a pleasure to meet regulars like old Albert who turns 87 this December. Such a great, charming and authentic atmosphere!

Been years since I've been here and was pleased to see the business still going strong whilst on a recent trip to Wolverhampton. Restaurant just as I remember it and the food as fabulous as ever. Everything is fresh, plentiful, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. My favourite Chinese restaurant and well worth a visit.

First time my husband and myself have been to this restaurant. But it will not be the last time we go. We had a pre theatre dinner 3 course. All the food we had was very nice, all the staff where very nice, we would definitely recommend everyone to go there, you will not be disappointed with the food very nice and tasty. Update April 2023 been a few more times and continues to be excellent. Note that on our last visit we were seated upstairs for the first time ever which is out of the way a little and doesn't have much atmosphere although the waitress was fantastic. Also note that mid way through our meal the lady owner came up with a group of other customers who were clearly in distress - I don't thank her for this - the group completely spoilt the evening for everyone else upstairs by continually replaying the altercation that had apparently occurred between them and another group downstairs. Previous reviews Brilliant place, offers traditional Chinese food aimed at the British pallete but also offers a Chinese menu for more authentic cuisine. We always order via Chinese menu and find it awesome. Staff are always brilliant too, well recommended.
