Fully recommend you book here as we have been turned away a few times. Even when under pressure the staff have been great.

This review is based on a breakfast order delivery via Uber Eats.... That's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had delivered from an online order. The quality of the items were so much better than you would get from any cafe and very reasonably priced. Order your breakfast here!

Stopped here after visiting the local Wightwick Manor house. Service was fantastic, great responsive staff who were friendly and efficient. The steak for both the mixed grill and the rib/steak combo were cooked medium rare as requested (usually it is more medium well done in most sizzling pubs I've been to) so kudos to the chef! The only reason it is a 4 star is because the pot of tea brought to the table had a sugar packet in the pot when we went to stir it. Although it was immediately replaced by the staff it was a bit off-putting!

Service was brilliant and the lady went above and beyond to help us. The food quality and price was absolutely phenomenal! Amazing cost and delicious food. Kids menu is brilliant with the choice and variety which helps when you have 4 children who all like different foods so not having set meals and being able to pick own additions is a brilliant idea. We love going to the Chestnut never had a bad meal or drink.

We were given a warm and friendly welcome and shown to our pre-booked table. We were asked if we wanted to order any drinks but we only wanted water which was brought to us promptly. We ordered our usual fish and chips (which have to be the best in the West Midlands!) and yet again were not disappointed. The service was great, the food hot and tasty and it was another enjoyable experience. Thanks to everybody - you are fantastic.

First time I’ve been in years but several friends have recommended it. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and I was worried because I hadn’t booked but were able to find a well positioned table. It was extremely busy with lots of other birthdays, families and work parties but all of the staff I saw were attentive and friendly. They apologised for the wait in serving our food but bearing in mind how busy it was I didn’t think we’d had to wait!! The food was delicious - even the picky eater in our party couldn’t complain. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly and all of the food we ordered was piping hot. Thank you to Rupert, the manager, and his staff for making our evening as enjoyable as it was. We will definitely be back again soon - I’ve already recommended The Chestnut to a couple of friends and my parents!!

Great local pub with warm and welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (front beer garden and back towards the car park). Plenty of parking spaces available usually. Food is lovely, a good selection for everyone and well presented on arrival. Staff are attentive; one or two newbies need cocktail training (lol) at the bar but no major problem there. Area can be sectioned for party groups and staff take group orders as a whole. All round lovely experience.
