It’s a sizzler pub! Who knew?? Not me! I’ve driven past this place for years and just never been in! It comes recommended so got to be worth a go! It was very busy when we got there and there were clearly regulars as well as new comers. The staff, were excellent, really friendly, really polite and were apologetic for a delay with the food. The food was far better than I was expecting, so for a cheapy tea, I was really pleased! Also drinks prices are bang on! Perfectly reasonable. The only downside and we made the staff aware there was an exceptional wait on the food, 1 hour and a quarter with no heads up… after we had been told they closed at 9. We received food at 8.45pm…. No kick out, but it was getting on! We will go back, but there was no appetite to stay for another drink after the delay!

I am vegan and sadly gluten free, with an allergy to chillies. The chef could not have been more understanding. She even brought out the purslane of the vegan burgers so that I could check the ingredients for myself. When I ordered the vegan burger she pointed out that the potatoes which accompanied it contained gluten, and offered me chips instead. All three bar staff read wine labels to see if there was a vegan wine. There wasn't, so I had cider instead. Huge thanks to Simon, Josh, Hannah and chef Kim

I came here on Monday the 31st of July for a social gathering. Staff member Josh was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and acted lovely towards my wife and her friends! Food was very nice and the building is very comforting to sit in. I would most definitely come here again and recommend it to others.

Visited on mothers day did not book but was able to get a table in the bar area for 2 the staff were pleasant and advised us that there may be delays with food. We looked over the menu and ordered at the bar our food came out in gd time considering. I ordered the vegan lasagne and my friend had fish and chips they were both presented well and tasted nice. A guy called danny cleared our plates and asked if we enjoyed our meals he was cheerful. I definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again sometime in the near future. Thanks guys

Booked for a Birthday party. Great food and service. A staff member brought out the cake and sang happy birthday with us. We had kids and there was mess and the staff were great. The food was reasonably priced and there was a great selection of dishes and was I was impressed with the food. Spot on. Thank you Rose and Crown

I must say this is one of our favourite restaurants in Wolverhampton, its a sizzling chain so you know its very reasonable food however in my opinion it is much better than local sizzling pubs such as the pilot or Elizabeth Arms, the staff are always incredibly friendly and the food is always of good quality too. Really enjoyed my vegan koftas that was a lovely new edition on the menu, wish you would bring back halluomi fajitas mind you. My partner was very pleased with his steak duo too, thank you for the recommendation. My daughters food unfortunately was incorrect we ordered quorn nuggets and received chicken, I only realised after she started throwing them on the floor, we both don't eat meat so this upset me a little bit. Also we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our drinks, so much so our starters came out before them. It just seemed like we were forgotten. Place was lovely and clean and very happy with social distancing and safety measures implemented. I do love coming here so we wouldn't be put off, but we was a little disappointed on this occasion as we were used to previously better service.
