Only popped in for a quick pint but this really is a hidden gem of a pub. Great beer and lovely peaceful beer garden. Will soon be back to try the food

First visit since reopening, just had Sunday lunch, excellent meal, food was plentiful, hot, couldn’t fault anything, from starter to desert.
Manager and staff very obliging, wonderful service, very efficient.

Oh if you want an absolutely lovely sunday dinner just like home cooked food this is the place to go. Couldn't fault anything. Gravy to die for. Cooked to perfection!! Also pub has had a lovely refurb beautiful surroundings. Shall definitely be visiting again soon.

Love this pub, I used to work here under the old management and can confirm that the new management is just as great. Really friendly service so you feel very welcome and the food arrived quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend and dogs are welcome too!

The food is AMAZING! The best fish and chips I've ever had....huge thick fresh fish, freshly battered. And the lamb meatballs to start are sublime

Best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time! Plus such a warm & friendly pub. Amazed I didn't even know of it until my friend took me today. Great service, very reasonable pricing which is so refreshing to see & also dog friendly! Highly recommend & will probably be in here every Sunday!!
