The old menu really needs to come back. The quality of food as dropped a awful lot since our last visits. Unfortunately this has gone from one of our favourites for food to just bog standard average. The old menu had so much more of the waw effect. And said quietly unlike the new one which is such a shame as its a stunning pub with a lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor. Lovely open fire in the winter and outdoor seating.. lovely place for a date night drink or get together with friends or work meeting
I would give this place 10 stars for venue and friendliness. And just 3 stars for food.

Popped in for a pint, ended up staying all day, peroni and prosecco were order of the day, staff were all very friendly and polite, ended up staying for something to eat, definitely worth visiting and will go again 😎

The team and the customers went out of their way to support me, when my car broke down just off the motorway.
They made me feel at home and kept me company while I was trying sorting out how to get back to Bristol.
Charlie was the best, she is so lovely and went over and above to help me and put a smile on my face. You are a wonderful person! I’m very glad you were working that day ❤️.

My favourite pub in all the land 😍 the food is delicious the atmosphere is friendly, homely and comforting to the soul. The decor is quirky and perfectly individual!
They have regular live local bands, one of which was the best I've seen, Please check these guys out they are called "The Brightsides" totally recommend visiting when they are playing. The staff are all lovely and welcoming.....definitely a must visit place 😊.

We booked this last minute & wow great find. Lovely Pub with a pretty garden Staff very friendly & polite. Had the Sunday roast, meat succulent, all of meal delicious. Definitely be returning.

We had the 2 course deal on a lunchtime in the week. Stuffed mushroom and fish and chips. Really good quality and quantity for the price. Would love to go back and try the evening menu.

The pub is very nice and clean, friendly staff. Nice pints and decor. Will be back to try to the food one day. The Guinness was ok nothing special. Poured ok but not that cold I could have done a better job at home from a can

Beautiful country pub, great beer and great food. The cocktails look and taste amazing, the service is really friendly, there is a children’s play area on site. Family friendly and dog friendly pub with beautiful out door areas front and back of the pub.
