Went on Sunday for carvery. As there server was out of order meals were pre plated choice of beef or turkey. We chose one of each. Both were hot, well cooked and a decent plate full. The staff were friendly and very helpful

Came yesterday for a carvery for mothers day. Customer service was top notch. We was shown our table and seated quickly. We ordered food and drinks and went to get our food from the cavery bay. The men serving were friendly and made conversation. There was a problem with what we was charged it got dealt with effectivly and fast.
Puddings were amazing and would definatly recommend coming to others xx
Hadn't been in a while as food had gone down so bad .... well new management new staff new refurbishment changed it round so much .. thanks for bringing it back .. Sunday carvery massive hit for our family .
Had my family xmas dinner at The Castle inn yesterday,food was nice and hot,service was lovely and prompt,staff and management nice and friendly,my uncle commented on how nice and tasty tge xmas pudding was,so thank you for making our xmas dinner a good one ..

Tasty scrummy carvery served with a smile. A good selection of meats and vegetables (the cauliflower cheese is first class) this place is great. We will definitely come here again �

Had carvery on Christmas eve and can say I really enjoyed myself, love the look,of the new place and can say the food was delicious. Nice family atmosphere. Will be there again soon

I really enjoyed the carvery here.... its an OK looking pub and seems like a family team who run the pub and they all seemed very friendly with good customer service. We came here for fathers Day and they accommodated our last minute booking.
Only downside is that carvery finishes at 4.. and main menu finishes at 3.45 on Sundays.. not sure about other days.
The meat options were beef, gammon, pork and turkey... I had all but turkey.. even though I had some turkey skin which was nice and crispy. Had a large carvery and they gave me a good portion of meat, not sure if this was the usual portion or maybe because we were the last ones but either way I enjoyed the portion sizes. The beef was really tender and i fully enjoyed it.. all the other meat was great to. They had all the good sides including a Cauliflower cheese which was delicious.
Had all the sauces you need.. cranberry, apple etc. Overall a nice carvery lunch and I would go again.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday, it was fairly quiet, we were greeted by 'The Boss' as shown on his tee-shirt. He offered us a choice of various tables. The Inn is part of the 'Marston' group. The menu offered a hugh choice. Menu orders were taken at the bar. The bar also offered a wide choice of Ales and Ciders. Pricing was very reasonable. Service of the food to table was given by a very helpful waitress. The food was excellent. The steak I had chosen was medium rare 15mm thick and done to perfection, the chips, although a production chip was also cooked perfectly. This choice came with onion rings and peas as standard. Apparently they do a Carvery on Sundays Lunchtimes and Wednesday evenings. We decided to book a Sunday meal and the earliest booking was 2 weeks. I'm not surprised after tasting the food and seeing how hard they work to keep the serving area for the carvery spotless. It offers a bright well maintained environment. Full credit to 'The Boss' and his co workers. Can't wait for my Sunday booking to come.

We went for our Sunday Carvery, greeted by very pleasant staff member. Shown to table. Orders for Carvery taken at the Bar. Choice of two, regular or large. At the carvery counter was choice of three meats, variety of vegetables, Yorkshire puddings. Gravey was supplied in a separate area adjacent to serving area, help yourself. All meal complementary sauces were there for your meal. "The Boss", Andy, has got one of the best teams I have seen, happy, helpful, and dedicated to the customer service. Well done all, will definatly visit again. See pictures for meal and dessert.
We absolutely love The Castle Inn, the staff work so hard, the 5 star service and the freshly cooked tasty food. What’s not to love. It always gets a 10/10 from us. Definitely the best carvery around. Great monthly entertainment, amazing cocktails & drinks choices.
We visited last Wednesday as a family and were surprised to see a mid week carvery. They had a choice of 3 meats turkey beef and gammon and plenty choice of veg. I opted for Beef and Gammon and was certainly not disappointed. The veg was so fresh and soft and we were given a small bowl to share the veg with our little one. The carvery chef was so happy and smiling it was a pleasure to see a great work atmosphere.
Will definitely come back to try carvery on a Sunday as we heard everyone on about the chefs Dauphinoise potato's that are only on Sundays.
Been twice since the new owners have taken over, the carvery is amazing especially the added touch of the dauphinoise potatoes its nice to see on a carvery. Alcohol pitchers are generously priced and great to enjoy outside while the little ones play. Food in the week its always spit on the pulled pork burger being my favourite.
Came here for carvery with my grandson last weekend loved the new family feel to the place and the new owners are so welcoming. My grandson was so excited with the bouncy castle and the carvery was to die for, even went up for second helping of veg. Will definitely be returning again.
They smash it every single time. Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and the carvery is the best in the entire area. It's our regular and I hope it never changes!
Popped in on Saturday for food and the service was quick and friendly, decided to come back the next day and have carvery it was amazing
Lovely pub, great informative bar staff. Chef always seemed to be smiling. We had the ultimate sfc burger meal and I can honestly say its something no other pub offers. Will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.
Came in Saturday night for a late dinner and karaoke and cant say i was dissapointed. Food was spot on even though the kitchen was closing soon, and the pub itself just had a warm welcoming feel with the landlady always floating around getting to know everyone. Reminds me of how local pubs used to be.
Went to the Castle for the first time today as my daughter recommended their carvery. Food was amazing all fresh ( NOT a deep fat fried roaster in sight ) I will never have a Green king carvery again 😂 It was busy and staff were rushed off their feet but all staff were pleasant and welcoming. Booked for next week … what a great team 💕
Lovely family run business who have a sense of humour whilst they work in a very busy environment. We booked a carvery and wasn't disappointed. Sat in a quieter alcove away from children and football.
Excellent meal with plenty of choice of fresh meat and vegetables.
Checked on us to make sure we were OK.
Desert was very tasty.
Real ale on tap.
Brilliant local pub, been here a few times since the new owners have taken over and can see the family vibe coming back. Food is definitely worth the money especially the carvery.

Turns out it’s a great pub, lovely staff, great friendly locals and the food is well worth the money. We highly recommend the lemon muffin cheesecake and jam roly poly. Wish we had a local like this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
