Loved the food I had burger meal my missus had a salad and we shared a platter excellent food will deffo come again and nice pint of rekordling strawberry and lime went down nice
I like the large choice of drinks on offer. Rhubarb cider is my fave but you can't get it many places. We went for food also before a comedy show so didn't want to wait long. Was impressed with the quick service and the polite, friendly, young lady who served us. We just had the basic pub food - burger, chips & garlic butter and scampi, chips & peas. It was lovely and only cost £9 for the 2 meals. Bargain! I'd definitely go again so happy to recommend.
Don't come into the city centre very often. However found ourselves in the Hogs head on Friday evening... loved the music, great selection of drinks and friendly bar staff... my new fave pub �
one of the best pubs in Wolves I'd say . The refurb looks great and the deals on craft beers are a great bargain ! never had a bad time in the Hogs no matter how busy it has been always served pretty fast and good selection of Ales always available . Friendly Staff and the new food looks ace !
Went there for drinks with friends for my 21st birthday, lively atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff especially angel who done our table service and the food was great! Definitely would recommend
Nice place for a drink and pub grub. Cocktails are 241 between 5-8pm. A good selection of cocktails to chose. Steak and chips were lovely.
The staff were a credit to the place throughout the tournament. Always smiling and joking. Brilliant atmosphere during the world cup !
Always eat here when I’m working away from Essex. It’s changed since I last came and definitely for the best. Awesome ambiance and food. See y’all soon
Stopped for our evening meal and cocktails after exploring museums all day. Didn't disappoint. The pizza was good, and cocktails were a treat at 2 for 1. Nice clean bar and tables, the staff were very friendly and even looked up a drink not on their menu and made it for us. Good place to stop for some cocktails.
We visited the Hogshead last night as a group of 10. Dylan was amazing with us, sorted a table for us and was very attentive

Good pub with great vibes and ambiance. The pub is also clean and cozy.
Visit here twice and always been fun and enjoyable.
The place can be very crowded and full. They also have 2 spot, indoor and outdoor. On Friday night, there was an acoustic good solo play.
Good food and variety of beers 🍻 and great service.
Banging burgers! Have eaten at the Hogs head a handful of times while passing through and enjoyed every meal (all be it I’ve only tried the burgers). Now I live in wolves, I hope to go more often and try more of the menu.
Dropped by for a few drinks and some food. Really nice atmosphere, board games behind the bar and a couple of retro consoles which can be loaned in exchange for leaving your ID behind the bar.
Drinks were ace, I’m a huge lover of Lilley’s cider so I was chuffed to find they had a ton of the flavours here. Had a couple of cocktails too which were fine, but a bit too expensive to drink all night long.
Had a bit of food too which was pretty nice. I ordered the Earth bowl which was supposed to come with avocado but sadly it was missing from my meal. Was really tasty and fresh apart though!
Sometimes it’s easy to feel like Wolverhampton has lost its spark but it’s gems like this that really keep the city going. Will defo be back soon!
Decent night to be fair, live music and a good atmosphere. Just like the old days. I think the last time I went was about 10 years ago. Wolves is now run down. But good to see the golden oldies pub like this still going.
Angel was an amazing server! We had bottomless brunch and she kept on top of us finishing drinks and food and was so friendly and smiley. The drinks and food were brilliant too. Dylan was also lovely on the bar :) will probably come back
Went out for a drink with a friend Saturday evening. Didn't spend long time. Good space for a drink and a chat. Lots of people watching sports. Very varied crowd, which was nice. Didn't try any food
Always have to stop off here when I'm in wolves. The food is delicious, nice selection and veggie options. Wide range of drinks and cocktails, staff are so friendly and welcoming. They have a quiz Wednesdays which is alot of fun!
Popped in to watch the footy and have some grub before a gig. Really nice place, friendly staff, nice food and great service
