Red Lion

Decided to visit for a bite to eat 5pm subday me the wife 2 kids and my daughters friend. Not too busy we sat across 2 tables so we were comfortable. Ordered mains and desserts good food Service was great very attentive indeed. I used to be a very regular before getting married and the lion was my go to 5-7 times a week lol. Good to see some old faces too Daughters enjoyed the karaoke too well done all.

Recently visited, great little pub with little touches of humour dotted about the place, great food at reasonable prices. We didn't get to enjoy the beer garden as it was raining but it looks like a great area to sit and relax in the warmer weather. Pool & darts, sports TV inside and out, live entertainment advertised. We'll definitely be returning.

A very nice pub. Impressive first visit with the sun out. A massive beer garden with plenty of tables. You get table service from ordering via the app. Which was fast and friendly. Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger meal, which came out within 15 mins and was very good. You could tell it was freshly made. The pints of Stella went down a treat. So a pub worth coming back to that has a friendly atmosphere and decent service.

Had the pleasure of visiting this pub on Saturday for a baby gender reveal party. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub had a really nice atmosphere the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We also had a wheelchair guest in our group and I must say the accessible toilet and the ladies toilets were cleaned to a very high standard. We will be returning shortly for another visit.

This pub has had many local awards and it is so easy to see why, it is very clear to see that the owners really care about the place and have modernised it accordingly. It was good before the refurbishment and now it's incredible. I am so lucky to have this on my doorstep. The food is wonderful, with an amazing selection, the amount of vegetarian food is wonderful. It's also fab for events and gave been to many including discos and ub40 tributes. It also is very cheap considering the quality and it quite quirky. I love coming here and will keep coming back time and time again.
