My daughter has recently been diagnosed with Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). We heard that Chip Stop do gluten free fish and chips and gave them a try. Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff. If you know anyone with a gluten intolerance recommend this chippy. I know, from experience, how frustrating it is for someone with a gluten intolerance to get good, quality food. Highly recommended

I’m a young person that works here currently, I saw someone else’s review that said the place treats young workers like trash and exploits them but I have been treated really well. All the other staff are friendly and sweet, the working hours fit with my afterschool times, and the occasional free food at the end of the day is a bonus. My dad sometimes orders from this chippy and the battered sausages, and chips, are really tasty especially

Just over a year ago, I was diagnosed with coeliac disease so I'm now living a Gluten Free life. I was thrilled to hear that Chip Stop in Penn offer Gluten Free fish and chips (amongst other things) every Tuesday and Saturday and ensure that food is prepared seperately (as I think the person that owns the chippy is also coeliac so totally GETS the whole disease and cross contamination thing). I not long got back from the Chip Stop to have our chippy dinner, which is a rare treat for us even before I was diagnosed with coeliac disease. The food tasted lovely, wouldn't even know it was gluten free. The mini fish and chip portion was actually quite filling and the meal along with my partners gluten containing food was reasonably priced. I was very pleased with the service from the very helpful staff. We decided to pop to the shop to order in person and though it was a busy Saturday evening and my Gluten Free food was prepared seperately, it took no more than 7 to 10 mins to wait for my food. Thank you Chip Stop team. I'll definitely pay a visit again.
Good prices and tasty food. Mini Fish Special (with Curry Sauce) and a can of Coke £5.80. Fast service too, will be visiting again soon.
Ordered a large chicken meat and chips and some SFC legs. Staff were friendly, worked fast and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!
Just enjoyed a delivery from Chip Stop. I have recently been diagnosed with coeliac disease so was thrilled to see that you can still order and enjoy traditional fish and chips gluten free style! The gluten free food was all labelled separately and tasted great! It was delivered efficiently and with a smile! I was really impressed and will be ordering again very soon. Me and my mom have been going for gluten free chips on Tuesdays for 5 years and we LOVE it. The chips are fab and the service is amazing, we drive 20 minutes nearly every week they are that good!
I was looking for a gluten free chip shop in Wolverhampton. Some only do gluten free on certain days but this chip shop was open and did gluten free chips. The owner takes it seriously and understands a celiac need to avoid gluten. You can't tell they are gluten free but I can say they were excellent. Really helpful folk there and looking at the thank you messages they do a lot for charity. 10 out 10 for a great chip shop.
