Always a friendly person to talk to. Good owners. Good food
Had my granddaughter's christening party at the gunmakers all the staff especially Sam were absolutely brilliant food was fantastic. First time in the pub and we will definitely definitely be going again. Thank you Sammy for a great day x

This is a drinkers' pub, a local ... remember them? Not many left these days.
Opposite is Critchleys hardware. A proper shop where the bloke at the counter knows what he's talking about. Not many of those left these days either.
Great value sunday dinner to take away, lovely home cooked dinner, tasty and such a good price. Food ready at time agreed pub has a lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Will be visiting again.
