Village Plaice

Can't Fault this Chipshop. They do fantastic Boxed meal choices We normally go for the Pie Boxes which is a Pie of Choice with either Battered Chips or normal chips. I have the Battered Chips as They are my Favourite, Partner Likes the Normal Chips with a Hot Sauce of Choice which they put in a pot as not everyone likes it all over their Chips (Me especially as I like to dip my Chips rather then have them smothered). Our Food is always Delivered Hot and Fresh sometimes things are forgotten due to human error but if one rings up normally they will send item out ASAP or put it in on the next order. You can either phone in your order or do it online and pay by Card or pay cash on delivery. All in All We Wouldn't go elsewhere as no other chipshop as ever better Village Plaices standards in my Eyes so Big Thank-You to all the Staff from Me, Partner and the Hounds always Love their Sausage too. Its not overly expensive the prices are what one would expect to pay at any chipshop

I've been using this chippy for a couple of years. Food is usually top notch, a few times they've slipped from five star to three, but far more consistent than many other chippies I've tried. Reasonably priced as well, especially the smaller offerings. I also like the plain chips on offer as I don't like the battered ones.

A new fish and chip shop, opening in 2019 on High Street Tettenhall and a welcome addition to the village. The building is fresh, clean and uncluttered. Battered chips are cooked to order, with a large selection of fish (Cod, Haddock, Plaice), chicken, kebabs and pies available. A foot long hotdog is available for those with a big enough appetite; the sausage produced by award winning local butchers, Robinsons. There is also a vegetarian and children's menu. Waiting times can be a little long if something is to be cooked to order, but the wait is worth it.

Been here tonight on the off chance as I saw it open a few weeks ago and have been meaning to try it. They serve battered chips and they are lovely and lightly coated instead of being absolutely caked in batter and grease like most other places. The staff are very friendly and service was nice and efficient. I think for how little time they have been open (7 weeks at the point of this review) they're doing really well. Hope to see them here for years to come and will definitely be back again.
