Loved it! Small and very cozy Indian restaurant. We had much fun with the waitress until we understood that there is no alcohol to get in the restaurant and decided for the super delicious Mango Lassi. Which brings me to the food: if I have the time, I will be back every time I am in MK. Warm and freshly backed Naan with a very tasty Chicken Tikka Masala. Awesome!

So lucky to find this place. I struggled for months to find outside food in the UK that matches what my Punjabi inlaws have at home and they absolutely LOVED the food here. Very tasty and authentic and good value. Will 100% be back!

We were on a business trip in Milton Keynes, for dinner we wanted Indian food, we googled and decided to try Namji. The 3 of us are very happy with our decision, the menu has many options for vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarians. We tried different starters and main dishes…all of them very tasty,! The service was perfect, very polite and patient with us! They do not sell alcohol but they accept you bring your own beer from the Premier next door.

First time trying and I can literally say 9.5/10. As a non-Asian loved the flavours together. I had Adi’s Chicken Mathani with Rice and Naan. Delivery arrived on time and food was hot which is great! I will definitely order again. Two personal downsides, food was oily than expected but as it’s not an everyday thing to me, I enjoyed it. Second was replies of the owner to lowest comments. Not everyone may enjoy the food. I believe as a business owner we should be polite to customers.

I stopped here for some dinner with colleagues on the way back from a business trip. The lady who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. All of the food we ordered was delicious and the portion sizes were good. I had the large mixed grill, which I have to say was probably the best mixed grill I've had from an Indian restaurant. They don't serve alcohol on here which wasn't an issue for us, but we were informed we could bring our own if we wanted.

Found this place while searching for an Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Wolverton. While the food took a little while to arrive (as it was very busy) it was well worth it, as it was all delicious. Would definitely come here again!

Really fantastic little Indian restaurant. The food all seemed very authentic and freshly cooked. Huge menu with lots of different options including vegetarian and vegan options. Lots of special and unusual dishes outside of the traditional fayre. The restaurant is unlicensed but they are happy for you to bring your own alcohol or purchase from the convenience store next door.

As still as good as ever. No complaints. Visited today with some friends. The food is always fantastic here and the service is excellent. Thanks Namji Wolverton, Naseem, Malik, Adi and all the team.

The restaurant is basic in decor, but that's the only minor negative. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything prepared and made to order. Dishes are altered to your needs/taste. The owner is just wonderful. She is quite possibly the nicest person I have ever been served by. She couldn't do anymore for us. She was genuinely happy to have our custom. This place is a gem and well worth a visit.

The best meal I've had in recent memory, and probably the best curry restaurant I've ever visited! I could tell that love had gone into every dish. I really liked that the descriptions on the menu had little stories about family members and their favourite dishes; it really made it all feel homely and authentic. It was refreshing to see that there was almost an entire dedicated menu for vegan options, rather than the typical one or two choices. Highly HIGHLY recommended!

Namji is fantastic. The authentic food is totally delicious and there are a lot of choices available from the extensive menu. You can bring your own alcohol or buy it chilled from the nearby shop. Our only complaint is that, once you’ve tasted the food from Namji, nowhere else is as good.

I have been here to eat 3 times and the food never ceases to amaze me I love how friendly the staff and owners are and the family feel you get from the overall style of the restaurant including the menu item names . I also love the music they have playing in the background building the ambience. Definitely a growing star in MK and a must try to any foodie

The best Indian food in Milton Keynes and I have tried most of the restaurants. Different choices from your standard Indian and excellent home cooked food from family recipes.

Food was amazing and the menu catered for all. Unlike the Namji in Xscape, the ambiance was lacking at this place. Shame really, if you classed it up like your cmk place you might get more customers

The food is impeccable and the atmosphere very relaxing. The best thing is that every dish looks and tastes absolutely home-made, you can literally feel the traditional flavours. The way the meet is cooked makes it so tender. I feel lucky it is just a few metres away from where I live. Real gem in Wolverton, hope it will not change a thing. I am sure that, after the improvement works in the square, even more clients will go to Namji.

Best Biryani I've ever had. My wife also had a vegetarian curry with aubergine which was the best veggie curry we've had before. So, so good. If you are in the area you have to try Namji.

Great food, will make each dish from no spice, mild, medium and got. Good enough to please every palette. Would recommend.

I cannot rate this place enough so welcoming and accommodating. Naseem is one of the most loveliest and sincere people I have ever met. We have enjoyed many meals here and last night was no different such fresh tasting authentic food and piles of popadums, puris and always that beautiful smiling face � Thank you xxx

Brilliant food and very friendly service. Authentic flavours with proper home made taste. Definitely best in MK. Try traditional halwa puri for breakfast and u will appreciate why they are 5star rated.

2nd attempt at trying food from here after an average experience first time and sadly no better. Where to start? After placing an order over the phone and being given a total that differed to the cost I had worked out based on the menu on their FB page, I then get a call back advising that the cost originally given was wrong anyway because something had been missed off when they totalled the order - ok, mistakes happen. However, for a business that seems to heavily rely on FB "advertising" I would expect that they could at least have the right prices on the menu that is on their FB page. Food arrived on time - the ONLY plus point of the entire experience and is the reason for 2 stars and not 1. When opened, the order was wrong and one of the mains sent was incorrect. Give the lady I spoke with her dues, she agreed to send the correct main out asap free of charge (some would say that this is the only logical thing to do to rectify their error of course) but when two people are planning on eating together and one order is wrong it stops that from happening. The correct main was in itself just OK, nothing to write home about unfortunately and for the "extra hot" option not overtly spicy. The new, replacement main arrived pretty quickly but to have only 6 small pieces of chicken in it for the price is pretty poor value for money to say the least. Overall I've paid a little under £40 for 2 mains, 2 rice, 2 portions of bhaji and a naan bread which in my opinion is over priced and sadly I can't even say that it was worth the money because some of it was luke warm when it arrived and because of their mistake unable to be eaten anyway. I'm a big advocate of local, independent businesses and the supporting of them but unfortunately the food here is over priced and sadly not as good as others appear to have experienced. Maybe the restaurant experience is better than the takeaway but who knows?

We've just moved to Wolverton and had read all the great reviews about this place and it certainly didn't disappoint. The food was incredible and full of multi-layered spice and the staff were attentive and super friendly. We'll certainly be back soon!

Fantastic authentic food, wonderful hospitality and lovely surroundings. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! The best meal out I've had in a long while, the food really is outstanding.

Just called in for breakfast (Halwa poori) after seeing post on FB. I have to say it was fantastic, authentic home style punjabi fayre, mildly spiced with extra condiment to add as you wish. So much better then the westernised Indian food that is offered in so many restaurants/takeaways. The owner is friendly and helpful and makes you feel relaxed and at home. We were so pressed by the quality of the food and welcome we have booked to go back tonight with the kids in tow. They are also open on xmas day for £25.00 Per person, I am sure you would be extended a very heartwarming welcome. OH, did I mention the food is fantastic? Well it is!!!!!!

Very delicious n freshly cooked food... Very good portions... Great Ambience and very friendly owner... She did come few times to ask if we liked the food and if we needed anything else... Loved Paneer Tikka just couldn't forget the taste my son is like Yummy Food in my Tummy...

Was the perfect place for our impromptu Valentines night. I have a lot of intolerances and they are extremely accommodating, AND without compromising on taste as a result. So so so delicious, fresh flavours and not at greasy (like many of the Indians in MK) and such good value. This was our first sit in experience, and second visit as had takeaway before. Couldn't recommended enough and already looking forward to getting brunch one weekend. Support local, independent yumminess!

My wife has been before and raved about the service and the food. I had my first experience last night - and was not disappointed. The staff extremely friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! We've travelled in India and the meals we ordered tasted exactly the same - fresh, delicious and very, very enjoyable. We'll definitely be back. Thank you
