A welcoming, busy, spacious pub. Cracking prices £2.49 for a pint of guiness and £1.49 for a coffee with free refills, you can't grumble at these prices. The food menu looked good value too, typical wetherspoons pub grub. The lady who served us was friendly and chatty. Toilets are down stairs and there is a beer garden although we didn't sit outside it looked nice. We parked in a free car park across the road. We will visit again.
Pleasant Wetherspoons pub in the heart of Wombwell. Usual Wetherspoon menu and usual array of drinks. Quite spacious inside . Staff were friendly and helpful
Nice place, friendly staff, good food and beer. Plenty of tables outside (maybe 20+) which is lovely in the sunshine. Four stars not 5 as sadly the food was barely warm when served. That may have been unusual for this place, so I'd say it's well worth a visit. Enjoy !
Food is always hot here compared to the one in town! Very clean! Prefer to come through here than eat in Joseph Brammers!

Absolutely good place to go. The Scottish/Northumberland deputy manager was a top lad too thank you for the lush food and for having my Newcastle brown ale in. Please try putting a spicy pizza on the menu and maybe some spicy kinda food
Very friendly staff and quick service.Food is the same standard as the other Wetherspoon chains and very good value.The only downside to this one is the decor which isn't as imaginative as lots of the other Wetherspoons I've been too and there's only a limited parking facility for a few disabled drivers..Well worth a visit thou if your out and about in Wombwell.
Good Weatherspoons value. App works well except can't cope with meals with a free tea. Charges for the tea.
The team were amazing. I took my dairy free relative and asked for a dairy free pizza. The guy assured me that it would be prepared in a separate part of the kitchen. This was really nice to hear. Very welcoming team.
