This is an amazing fish shop and well worth a visit. Their home made fish cakes are to die for and the fish is amazing. Very clean, the staff are friendly and I love reading where the fish and potatoes have come from.

Recently called in over the Xmas period as our daughter lives nearby and was impressed immensely. Ordered 3 fish, chips and curry all medium and 3 bread cakes and when we got them home we thoroughly enjoyed them. Had to wait for them to be cooked but it was well worth it. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. A great selection on offer and a wide variety of flavoured cans of pop and juice . You have to be careful on entering the car park as there is a massive dip in the surface as you go in which could do with filling in, you have to entry nice and slow as not to damage your vehicle. Makes it more hazardous with it been dark at the moment. It hasn't put me off as I will definitely recommend it and will visit again when in the area.
Freshly cooked on your arrival the ladies that run this place ate good for a laugh. Nothing has changed on my recent visit 22/6/2023

Proper fish and chips cooked in beef dripping, that's the only way, not long life cooking oils that make you ill like many other establishments use because it's cheap.

Really, really good. Rivals Park Rd in Barnsley. Proper meaty fish, lovely batter, generous portions & fried in decent oil. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
First time we have tried this fish shop . Fish was very nice and tasty chips where a little cool. But overall would definitely go again.
