We were invited by friends to join them in the Swan on a Saturday night.
The greeting by the Landlord/Host was really lovely. The 'vibe' was such that you immediately felt like you were very much welcomed and belonged there. It made me want to live in the village. If you do live there, support this pub!
After a few hours spent in the pub, it's clear that it's a super friendly village pub that welcomes 'newcomers'.
I wish they did food but they don't. That's a shame as it would be the icing on the cake if they did.
Check if they're open as they do close on the odd day.

A great local pub with lots of local events music quiz nights, no food but pizza night once a week. The owners have brought into local village life.
While visiting one of the locals stood in behind the bar to get me a drink while the owner was down in the cellars.

We stopped at the Swan Inn after being caught in a rain storm and were absolutely soaked to the core.
Unbeknownst to us, the pub was actually closed in preparation for a wedding, but seeing our plight, the owners took pity on us, gave us a towel to dry ourselves and soggy dog off with and we stopped for a drink! Absolute superstars and makes you realise there are nice, helpful and understanding people left in this world!

A really beautiful pub Kev and Linda are wonderful hosts. Their pub is very tastefully decorated with lovely soft furnishings We stopped over in our van. Lovely surroundings and fab walks.

Great family rub pub, re ently renovated to a very high standard, cosy, friendly ambience with a hint of a Rockabilly theme. Kevin the landlord and his wife will look after you.

Wonderful staff, cosy decor with a lovely outside space, ate my perfect steak outside watching the starlings with a rhubarb cider!

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and where pleased to find that even though we had not booked on a hot sunny Saturday there was still a few tables available. The food was of good quality however the menu was a little small. The service was great and they had a couple of no alcoholic beers. The only issue we had was my wife did not enjoy the ice cream as it seemed to be crunchy and hard.
