What a great place to eat! We visited on a Saturday night at about 7.30pm so expected a possible long wait. We sat and waited for around 10 mins before getting a table, which was no problem at all. Staff were really helpful and attentive and the food was amazing! The atmosphere was great as everyone seemed to be having an enjoyable time. Would highly recommend, well done!
Had a lovely lunch with my grandparents here, the atmosphere was absolutely lovely, we sat outside but inside was beautiful as well. I had a vegan pizza and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time, we also got some olives as well and they were so fresh and amazing. The photo is of my half eaten pizza because I couldn't stop myself as it was honeysly amazing, definitely recommend.
I was working over at the Tidemill and forgot my packed lunch 🙄 fortunately I had the Woodyard to provide me with my morning coffee and an irresistible, delicious brownie which came with a little pot of strawberry ice cream. Then a lovely member of staff popped over with a baked sausage roll for my lunch, just to keep any stray hunger pangs at bay. After a rainy afternoon I popped in on my way home and made it a hat trick with a take out Nduja pizza. Great staff, amazing food, needless to say, tomorrow will be a brócoli smoothie day.
Lovely food and good service. We had two coffees, aubergine parmigiana and fig and goat cheese.

A great find with incredible pizzas. Homemade sauces and a family vibe for sure! The staff were amazing and the manager on staff was incredible and very accommodating. I over ordered and realized before our food came out. The manager took one of our pizzas off the bill, the staff got to eat it and when she overheard I had a headache, she helped me with some paracetamol and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and we did! The ice cream bar is a lively touch too. We finished our food and paid and got ice cream to go and went for a little walk.
They also do sorbet which is great for those with a dairy free diet. Strongly recommend if you love pizza!
We’ve eaten at The Woodyard three times since it opened about a year ago. The pizza and service has been excellent on every occasion, and it was lovely to sit outside on our most recent visit. I ordered Nonna’s meatball ragu pizza on this occasion, and it was comfortably the best of the three pizzas I’ve had at the restaurant. Looking forward to another visit soon!
What an amazing find and genuinely the best pizza I have had in the UK. Great atmosphere and value for money, looking forward to going back again soon.
A few more "normal" pizzas on the menu would make this nice little restaurant 5 stars across the board. The meatball pizza was a bit too dry and needed (in my view) maybe one or two other ingredients to make it feel a bit less stingy. Mostly delicious however and we like coming here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the setting is as good as it gets in Woodbridge.
We really enjoyed our meal here. The pizzas were really delicious. The quality and flavours were great. Plenty of choice. Service was good and the waitress was friendly. We will definitely be back.
What a great addition to the town. Authentic Neapolitan style pizza made by a real Neapolitan.
Location by the river. Awesome place to hang out. Great cocktails, lovely team but the real star is the pizza.
Proper fermented dough, great quality ingredients, light puffy crust and lovingly prepared.
Great Margherita and they do a salsicce and friarielli which is amazing.
An instant favourite but keep it to yourself! 😜
